Sorry sabre ace, all this happened in the 80s, not sure if I can find it on the nest, but PAF only credited the claims that could be proven by teh pilots, the criteria for awarding a “kill” was very strict , General Dynamics also recgnised the kills, but then they would as they had a huge vesed interest in teh F-16 having a good combat record, for more infomation on the kills, evidence and photos you can try some of the aviation books and magazines of that period, a few websites, or in desperate circumstances, ask Alexander Rutskoi (former Russian vice president and shot down by Fiza’Ya)! 🙂

I am not saying they did or they did noth Sabreace, my point was the Russians, just like teh PAF can claim all they want, PAF has wreckage/footage of just 11 kilss but as MIGMASTER pointed out , claim more then twice that number….

I know I am going to get stick for this, but does the RAF REALLY NEED more then 200 Eurofighters!?

I mean whenever Britain goes to war these days its really assests like Transport planes, air to air refuelling and special forces that are of the greatest demand, other then a potential re run of teh Falklands, wont Britain always be able to rely on the US!? All one really needs in those circumstances is a limited ability to provide air defence to teh Bristish Isles and a Jag replacement

I know its a big “IF”, but if Hooin did cancel RAF Eurofighters, what would teh UK get in its place!? 60-80 odd F-22s!?

So did the PAF! PAF pilots claimed 21 odd planes but we could only be given credit for 11 as other wreckage landed in enemy territory!

So Russian can claim what they like, its been over 15 years now and they have no proof…….

Pakistan is getting 40 extra AH-1Fs with TOW 2 and CNITE, this has already been discussed…….

I dont know why on earth we need to waste money on MI-35s!

According to a US Defence Intelligence Agency report Pakistan has twice as many nukes as India, India can hardly compete with Pakistan on nukes, let along even dream of countering China….

I dont think the first two pix are ROSE planes as they have the old PAF insignia on the tail, that was phased out in the mid 90s, well before ROSE was completed…..
