A VC10 might fit in that lineup…..
Well, it is available on Amazon as well: Dark Blue World – Amazon.co.uk
You connected to this lot by any chance: http://www.cbfsim.co.uk ?
No one has built one before and its a little different than the Mustangs and Spitfires that seem to be available to the virtual pilot.
I don’t know if that is correct Martin…

It appears to be a model for FS2004 but might be worth checking out.
I had a bit of a search through some more shops selling pilot’s notes but the Seagull isn’t available.
A lot of these guys are selling the same manuals, so if you’re looking for something it might be useful to compare prices.

The clue is in the note: This aircraft pre-dated separate Pilots Notes. Sorry, I guess the answer is no, unless someone else knows more. JDK, where are you?
Very impressive how it starts on just the one kick!
It made me think of this movie:
Not a Spitfire to be seen in this one though…
Here we go, two more photos of Phantoms with folded wings, flying:

So it may be real!
I’ve heard that too for the Bearcat, but I think it was only ever installed for testing purposes and they couldn’t guarantee simultaneous release of both outer wing panels. Therefore it wasn’t installed on production Bearcats.
I have a feeling that it’s real. The other one was a F-8 Crusader and it was not a test, it was an accident. The pilot took off and noticed a wingtip light reflecting in his canopy, because it was still above him… 😮
Edit: apparently it happened more than once, here’s one (scroll down for photo): http://mofak.com/Night_Infamy.htm
Spoke to the Belgian AF Herc crew afterwards (one of the Migs took out their starboard tailplane on the way down). They were watching the show on the roof of their aircraft. They had never evacuated their aircraft as quick as that day (hardly surprising with a burning jet hurtling towards you!), one of them even sliding down the side of the fuselage apparently. A long way down. The aircraft eventually departed Fairford some months later with a completely new tail section. I seem to recall one of the Spanish CASA’s had a damaged centre section too that grounded it for some time…
They had a set of photos that showed their proximity to the crash and their hasty retreat. Chilling to watch. One of the crewmembers actually turned left when exiting the Herc, and walked (or ran) straight into the fireball. The panic and confusion had momentarily dulled his sense of direction. Fortunately he very quickly reacted by pulling his flightsuit over his head and ran back in the other direction. IIRC he escaped his close encounter without any injuries.
Too close for comfort is a phrase that comes to mind…
You’re correct Eric, but the normal occupants (at least the two in the front of the classroom) are impossible to teach…;)
At Biggin Hill one year there were two smart cars. One painted like a Spitfire and one like a 109!
You mean the Smartfire and the Messersmart….
And there was me thinking they’d all been retired already – then yesterday I was walking down the street and heard an unfamiliar engine sound, looked up and there was a VC10 tanker heading west, presumably to Brize. It was about 13:30 over Northampton – any idea of the identity of this beautiful bird?
Looks like it might have been ZA149: http://www.vc10.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&p=2725&sid=5fa0d84493b1e44ada9cec6bc490e983#p2725
