Here’s an alleged photo of an F-86 in Soviet hands. I’d imagine that the technology that the Soviets were most interested at the time wasn’t the ranging radar or the powerplant – but the rolls of film in the gun cameras – judging by the quality of this picture.:D

Looks like a faked picture of a model to me;)

I think I am correct in saying that the Belgium Air Force cares quite well for its old aircraft

    You’re joking right? 🙁

What’s the interior like? I’ve heard it looks nothing like a stock mustang. Leather interior and the works.

I think mister Branson should better spend his 1million on the Vulcan. At least that one has a very good chance of flying again! Concorde flying? H*ll no! I think the French are right in not wanting to release the plane!

Are you doing a complete panel or cockpit section?

Thanks 🙂 Ultimate goal is to have a cockpit section, but now it’s only parts. I’ve been looking for side consoles, main instrument panel and the right main panel for years now. But as I said, really hard to find parts 🙁

Looks great! Looking forward to seeing the progress! Are you going to paint the cargo/trunk interior green as well?

As much as I support this project:

“The fact remains that, over the past 3 years, we have realised well over £5.3million – just under half that coming from members of the public.”

just think what someone like the shuttleworth collection could do with that amount:eek:
