surprised no one has commentated on the similarity between the actor playing Leefe and a certain broadcaster from Kahzakstan!
TT
yip. If you shoot at him, he wil CRUSH you!
is this the t-33 in canadian colors that visited the Belgian defence days this weekend?

Big cheers for the Vulcan! 😀 Eat this nay-sayers :p
you gotta admit she looks great with the gear and canopy fitted 🙂
hmm Yeager. 1st to break the sound barrier? Nope! oh and the word “expendable” comes to mind also.
It’s about time they change history books and credit George Welch for it!
Hardly a Heinkel design I would have thought ,being basically a four seat Magister with Marbore VI’s
indeed, but the 2 prototypes were build by Heinkel in Germany
potez-heinkel CM191
looked like the engine stopped. pilot made a turn, stalled and hit the ground nose first 🙁
Out of curiosity, what is the price of a cockpit like this? Shame you have to let het go 🙁
Why on earth would you want to clutter Duxford up with a massive duplicate airframe that they will have to pour money into preserving. Surely one Vulcan at a time is enough?
I thought the plan was to move her into preservation in Duxford after her new flying career would be over? Anyway, just hope she finds a good home under cover instead of the scrapman.
when the project is cancelled, with all the work that has been done to date, would she be able to make 1 short transitflight to Duxford? If not, how hard is it to transport a Vulcan by road? Do the wings detach?
Nice!!!! could you post some more pics of the exterior and interior?
save the cockpit section and everything that can be bolted off (gear, engines, interior) I think that will be all that’s possible 🙁
