That Meteor :'(

I think we say that because in the past comments/wild speculations from this forum turned up in the Daily Rag and can be very damaging for the warbird/airshow scene! Neither of us knows what went on, only those who were there. So any guesswork is just that.

Superb piece of flying and great damage control. Hats off to the pilot.
Funny all those experts asking questions about emergency services and telling how it went. Just like me, you don’t know **** about what actually happened. It’s up to the CAA to determine cause, leave it to them instead of making up theories that could headline the Daily Rag.

It’s a very nice aircraft. And the only one that flew. The one in the German museum never flew. It was restored to airworthy a few years ago and has been on sale ever since.

This forum is funny sometimes. I’d like to see how many would refuse a flight in it, just because it had a merlin up front.
