So has anyone been able to reach the scrappie or doesn’t ha answer the phone? Do we know for certain who it is?
Me too. If the instrument panel is still alive, I’m interested
Unknown COGEA spit with Belgian Fouga around 1963 Edit: Waddington 1964 🙂
Really hope she makes it. Would love to see her racing in F1!
Edit: And just read the two Tornado’s crashed. 1 crew recovered, the other missing :s Hope they make it as well!
The mockup still exists and was owned by a forum member until last year, I think.
Dave, you out there?:D
EDIT: oeps, was thinking of the AAC Wamira mockup
On more selfish grounds, it would make a fine cockpit project! BTW, looking at the pic again, do we know it was scrapped, or possibly cut for transportation?

Who knows? If someone is quick, the cockpit section might still be available?
My take on the spitfires 🙂
Wow! Nice:D
Thanks for the update! White does indeed look much better! What’s the story on the Mossie?
Such a shame 🙁 I would indeed think it would still have a future as a houseboat or something. I for one would love to own one!
You mean you never heard of the genuine WWII 1951 Vampire Spitfire?:D
I also agree. I am interested in the project, but after visiting the site once, I just don’t bother anymore. Enough projects out there to follow where you don’t have to register.
Nice project! Comparing with this:http://www.flickr.com/photos/aerofossile2012/2234508449/sizes/l/in/photostream/ Almost half the instruments needed dare the same as Fouga!
So why don’t they? Why make an aircraft unnecessarily less original?
What is the reason to replace the skins during overhaul? Why can’t they just stay on?
