But that cockpit shape rings bells somewhere with another post war type but I can’t put my finger on it.
Seabee?
WJ244, Would it be possible to get fuel donated if some sort of official museum was to be created for the runners? Maybe that way companies could donate fuel in return for a tax write-off?
indeed seems to be another typehttp://www.afwing.com/intro/harrier/legend/harrier%20gr1%20hms%20eagle.jpg

Amazing job XV148!
Yes and Vickers sold surplus Spitfires to Belgium and they were liveried in Belgian markings before collection from the UK. Many thanks. Mark

So there is a Belgian connection to the pic? 😀
I know it’s wrong, but for some reason I’m thinking Belgium :/
Any pictures of your cockpit?
Of these ZJ525(XV246) has been cancelled on the line to be replaced by the reworking of pre-production ZJ518
Why is that? Something wrong with XV246?
Isn’t there a chance to save the cockpit sections? Would be easy to remove since the whole cockpit is an escape pod.
It looks great!:D
And when can we expect “the book”?:D
I never saw it again, or want to either.
That makes two of us 🙁
Bruce, do you have any pictures you can share of the inside?
Was the cause of that crash ever found?
