Obviously you mean TC? The same guy who believes that Israeli F-15s took out two Syrian MiG-29s a few days after 9/11 and the whole event is being covered up. TC obtains info from very dubious and naive sources.

Who said I didn’t? This period of time just happens to be one of relative downtime for me with regards to work. The base I’m currently assigned to is not where I will do my pilot training. That doesn’t start for about 7 months, and after that you may not hear from me for a long time so count your blessings you might only have to deal with me for a few more months……

Seeing as others above have calculated the relative loss rates into various percentages, I’d say that puts out quite an impressive showing for the Coalition. You are entitled to your own opinions and I never said otherwise….I’m just implying that you’re misguided if you don’t think that the complete annihilation of the Iraqi war machine in a matter of weeks with relatively few losses isn’t not impressive. Of course there are losses because no one human is invincible and mistakes will be made, but based on what was being faced at the beginning of the conflict, then the results were quite satisfactory.

Allied Force was impressive, but it was a far smaller scale than Desert Storm and didn’t last nearly as long. Serbia was far less of a military power than Iraq.

what a load of S***, again in case you don’t understand English, I have never said that the allied didn’t win or didn’t do a good job, I said it wasn’t as perfect as you are implying.

Of course perhaps if it had been Syria the results would have been different and resulted in far more Coalition casualties….you can only dream I guess. 🙂

third, only an idiot would say that what I said equals claiming that the allies failed, where exactly is your brain? you said it was spectacular, my point was that it was NOT, I have an opinion that Allied Force is a much better performance, too many people might disagree with me, but it’s my opinion, may be in your neocon world only you are intitled to an opinion, but believe it or not I AM intitled to have an opinion.

Its surprising how so many here are so sure that Iran doesn’t have S-300s. Remember that Syria officially never bought the S-300 but is known to possess it. The matter is a point of controversy.

Regarding the Iraqis I wasn’t referring to the desert terrain as the reason they caved…I’m talking about the fact that their morale was quite low and they were very quick to throw up the white flag because the Coalition was able to just annihilate their defenses and gain air superiority so quickly. After having been embarrassed over all those many years I’d expect the Syrians to fight fairly tough at first, but after a few weeks perhaps when the IDF/AF is putting relentless pressure on them…..they will cave in just like their Iraqi neighbors because I guarantee it won’t take the Israelis long to get air superiority and as such to wreak havoc among Syrian ground forces.

41 days of air bombing, trapped in the desert, one week with no food or water, 30 days of no communications with high command, B-52 bombers defenning them for weeks, fighting for no just cause, what would you expect Iraqi soldiers to have done other than surrendering??? even American supermen would’ve surrendered under such sercumstances!

and that’s opposite to the Syrian case, you can NOT stop food and water supplies from reaching Syrian soldiers, they are too close to their command, they are fighting among their brethern citizens, they are fighting to defend their country not some occupied bretherly Arab Emirate, they have much much better training and weaponry than Iraqis did and they have better terrain on their side, Syrian defenders have a much better chance than their Iraqi counter parts and you must admit this.

I can realy see the all Sunny Syrian soldiers in the first line of defence
fighting to the death for the Alawi dictatorship and their officers in
the third line of defence. Ain’t that right Qudrat?
