In open provocation of Syria, Israel has been conducting air force flights over Syrian airfields, barracks and other military interests, and has attacked ‘terrorist’ targets within Syrian territory.

On 5 October, Israeli F-16 jets bombed an empty Palestinian training base near Damascus. It was the first assault on Syrian soil in 30 years and the Syrians were stunned, failed to retaliate and were mocked throughout the Arab world for letting the Israelis humiliate them.

Gazit was referring to what the Israeli defence minister, Shaul Mofaz, said in Washington recently after his Pentagon meetings – that Israeli jets flew over Assad’s palace as a warning to the president to stop harbouring Palestinian extremist groups in Damascus. “It seems that the Syrian president didn’t get the message and we may need to give him another one,” said Mofaz.
which palace exactly ? they first claimed it was the one in Lattakia, then changed the version to the one in Kirdahah and said President Asad watched them over fly his palace, then when they discovered they were stupid enough not to know he was in Damascus recieving Saudi Crown prince Abdullah, they changed the version again to say the overflight happened during the stupid terrorist raid they conducted, which is more BS because they a) didn’t eneter Syrian airspace and 2) reported the over flight weeks before the raid !!!.
The Israelis assume that another attack on Syrian soil will force Syria to retaliate.

That would allow them to launch an even more powerful attack against both the Iranian rockets in Lebanon and the Syrian Scud-C and Scud-D ballistic missiles. After such a campaign, Syria and Iraq would no longer be a threat to Israel. Only one country would be left in the region for the Israelis to neuter, which is Iran.
and how are they goign to find our missiles in order to destroy them ? only way these missiles are going to be destroyed is when they slam into Ramat David and Tel Nof !.:D
