Nice pic, and in BA’s best looking livery too!
I heard about it too. Apparently it was over a seat allocation. It’s sad to see these days that people would harm someone else just over a pitiful seat allocation. On the last flight I took with Virgin Blue (Coolongatta to SYD) I was stuck down the back with a two-year-old screaming for the entire flight in the row behind me! I have to say it wasn’t fun, but it wasn’t worth harming someone for it.
I’m currently flying for Eurostar VA out of LGW. I usually fly the A330, because I just love them!

Is it a DC-10?
This is my choice.

From what I’ve read about Ryanair (I live in Australia) , it seems that they don’t give a toss about anyone but themselves really. I also saw that show about Easyjet and I liked it. If I’m going to fly around Europe with a low-cost airline, I’ll take Easyjet over Ryanair.
I totally agree with you Steve. I think that Richard Branson would have been able to put them to good use with Virgin Atlantic. I believe that they still have some life left in them and they would suit the Virgin ‘theme’. Just my two cents.
Congrats Gaurav! I’ll be doing my training in Australia. I’m starting the Advanced Airline Course at Basair Australia in October. The course will also get me a turbine rating on the EMB-110 Bandierante and a Flight Instructor’s Rating. Who knows, I might see you around some European Airport in the near future. I’ll be the 171cm tall QANTAS pilot with black hair and brown eyes, which just about describes a sizable percentage of the pilot population.
I’m about to start my flying training in late October in Australia. I’ll be going to Basair Flying College at Bankstown, Sydney. At the moment, I see that the airline industry is in a downturn at the moment, but during the course, I get to do some airline flying with King Island Airlines in Melbourne flying the EMB-110 Bandirante. Also, by the way, has anyone here flown a Bandierante?
Cheers

Indeed you’re right Mongu, and the Virgin staff deserve it. Every flight I’ve been on with them has left on time and arrived early. Their cabin staff are very professional and cheerful, and the snack service is good too, although you have to pay for it, but it’s reasonably priced.
Nice pic of the Qantas B744. Hopefully I’ll be flying one in a couple of years.:D
