Pardon for my lacking knowledge on Mig-29 series. But are all those Mig-29 on the vids SMT? I thought they had newer engines, which produced less smoke?
You can see one Mig-29SMT very shortly at the very beginning of the vid but during all the rest you actually see only Mig-29UBT’s, the UB training version of the SMT.
They do have indeed upgraded Klimov RD-33 series 3 engines but these produce the same amount of smoke than the basic RD-33’s.
