    Regardless of how silly it is to deny the holocaust, to make it a crime to voice that opinion flies in the face of the claims that these countries have true freedom of expression.

    The list of European countries in which it is a crime to deny the holocaust is surprisingly long :

    * Austria
    * Belgium
    * Czech Republic
    * France
    * Germany
    * Israel
    * Lithuania
    * Poland
    * Slovakia
    * Switzerland

    Would you like me to remind you what the British press did when Prince Harry wore the swastika while dressing up as a German during some highschool party of his?

    Is the freedom to insult other people’s faith just because you can something to be proud of? or does it really take a ‘Holocaust’ to gain respect?
    Why is there a legislation against imagery that hurts the feelings of all those barely 15 million Jews of the world? Since, when these very papers publish something that offends the 1 billion Muslims of the world, it’s conveniently cited as ‘freedom of expression and that of your press’.
    Surely more suitable candidates for such pictures would have been Bin Laden, Abu Musab Zarqawi or Al-Zwahiri instead of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). But if EU countries really want to play into the hands of Islamic extremists well then who are we to stop them.

    why people make so much noises…

    And why should they not? US is supposed to be an ally which in turn bombed some place in Pakistan without notifying the government of Pakistan (though personally i doubt the validity of that stance by GOP, they were very much in the loop). How do you think the public should respond to that? Keeping in mind that it was claimed at that time that its only the innocents who were killed.

    One point is clear.. looks like US is loosing patience in Pakistan handling the situation.. they dont trust them anymore.. which is why Hellfire lauch inside pakistan

    It’s not the first time that a US drone has actually attacked a target on the Pakistani side e.g. the hit on Abdullah Mehsud. In all of such attacks Pakistanis were very much part of the operation and I’ve no reason to believe that they were not in this particular instance. Though putting the blame squarely on the CIA and the US takes the heat off Pervaiz Musharraf from his domestic audience which in the long run is helpful for him.

    I am telling people like you that when US bomb and kill some terrorists, the whole pakistan erupts

    People did protest the bombings (I can’t understand exactly how healthy and non violent protests can be termed as ‘eruption’ in any sense of the word) but it was due to the knowledge prevalent at that time that the victims of the bombing were all innocents and the actual targets escaped. Incase you bothered to read the no. of people protesting before and after the news of killing of 3 AQ members came you would have noticed how drastically it reduced.

    but there is a war going on in Baluchistan (according to Pak army) where they are killing so called terrorists using Cobra helicopters and F-16’s which no body bothers to write about. :confused:

    Would you mind quoting the Pak Army where they state that its a ‘War’ going on in Balochistan? And if it comforts you to any degree then let me tell you that there are more than enough Pakistani journalists, columnists and editors who are churning out articles upon articles condemning the handling of the Balochistan crisis by the government that includes opposition to the armed response to the separatist movement. Its getting the response it deserves. I’d suggest you to read the Pakistani press rather avidly if you think this matter is going on un-noticed by the general public.

    FYI, US doesnt bomb India.. they bomb where terrorists are living.

    Am I supposed to feel enlightened by that statement of yours?

    Interesting point. That figures why there is problem in Balochistan. killing own people whom u sworn to protect. :rolleyes:

    Right! So cinciboy would your like me to remind you how the Indian government has dealt with the Naxalities, Orissa tribals, Manipur and Nagaland insurgencies, Maoists in Jharkhand and Bihar and the Khalistan Movement? And for that matter the seperatist movement in Balochistan is nowhere near the scale of any of the above mentioned conflicts.
    So how about sticking to the topic?
