I am not exactly referring to the American crew as if they are lying rather can’t they be mistaken? And if the difference between a RPG launch and a ground detonation is as considerable as SOC puts it, isnt the Pakistani Army actually making a laughing stock out of itself by saying that it was a dynamite explosion instead of an RPG launch?

Why exactly would anyone want to fire at a chopper which might even be carrying some civilians earthquake victims or for that matter supplies for them?
Yes the terrorists have their own agenda, but don’t you think in this time of crisis on the ground they’ve better things to do than firing RPG rounds at US choppers which are infact helping their own people? It doesnt make any sense.

One thing is for sure, you certainly can’t hear the ‘whooosh’ a few thousand feet above with two big *** rotors on top. They must have seen a flash and dirt kicking up, arent these the characteristics of a detonation as well?
I considered firing of an RPG round as an imaginary scenario because there is a reasonable doubt that it might have been the case. I’d suggest to let more details filter through before reaching an understanding that it was an actual RPG attack at the chinook.

The chopper wasnt exactly flying in Afghanistan and an enquiry is being held to know what ‘really’ happened. So constituting imaginary scenarios about it is useless.

Was it even a RPG attack? How about letting commonsense take charge here?

I’ve been using it for over a year now and thank God without a single hitch. You can also check out its community website at http://www.aximsite.com . I hope it’d help you in reaching a decision.

I’d advise a Dell Axim X30 H. Its one of the fastest Pocket PCs in the market with a processor clocking at 624Mhz. Though it doesnt feature an inbuilt cam, but you can always get that for cheap from ebay.
The price on dell’s website is £245 but I guess you can get it for alot less from Ebay or other online computer stores.

Coz you hypothesised that if a CM is launched from an incline vs a vertical it has to have a different guidance system.
What made you believe that every Cruise Missile has the guidance capability to be launched in an either vertical or inclined position?
This capability is specifically ‘elaborated’ on their website. Its not just me, you can ask anyone here about the difference in guidance system of a LACM and that of a ShipAttack CM.
