Happy Birthday Daz man.
like it is okay to marry young girl, etc.
Islam says nothing of the sort. What it says is that girls can be married off after they’ve hit puberty. There is no specific age of consent in Islam, it’s derived from the fact that whether a girl has hit puberty or not.
What the Prophet (PBUH) did was his personal act and in accordance to the norms of the time. And it’s been considered morally reprehensible only in modern times while it’s still in fashion in quite a few third world countries and according to history none of his contemporary friends or enemies raised an eyebrow over this act.
The legal age of consent for females in the States is 16 while in China, Korea, Chile and Mexico etc it’s 14, 13 and 12 respectively. You can not thrust your modern norms and ideas all over the board, now can you?
And just to put things in perspective, even in the US the age of consent just about a 100 years back was 10, California was the first state to change the age of consent to 14, which it did in 1889. And for Prophet (PBUH) you’re talking about a time that was more than 1400 years back.

I don’t exactly see why is the conversion to Islam being perceived as a ‘threat’ by you Joey? Specially the following question by you did in fact irk me..
1> Is the situation this bad in Europe?
So if tomorrow for whatever reasons Christians or Hindus start multiplying you’re going to consider that ‘bad’ as well? Or are you reserving your ‘dislike’ (sic) just for Islam?
Considering the fact that you are from India and have been living in a multi-religious society for quite a while, I really don’t understand your threat perception of a singular religion.

Pakistan on Thursday conducted a successful launch of the intermediate range ballistic missile Hatf V (Ghauri).
The launch was carried out by the troops of the Army Strategic Forces Command (ASFC) at the culmination phase of a training exercise held to test the operational readiness of a Strategic Missile Group (SMG) equipped with Ghauri missiles.
President Pervez Musharraf had handed over the Ghauri missiles to the ASFC some years back. The Ghauri missile has a range of 1300km.
UAV with that long of a wingspan has got to be Global Hawks.
I and a few people here have measured their wingspan they’re not Global Hawks but MQ-1s (hellfire equipped predators).
The title can certainly be changed to Planar Phased Array Antenna and blind spots, that’d be worth talking about.
Casino Royale:
Just came back from watching this gem of a movie on a 22.4 m wide cinema screen and the experience was exhilarating to say the least. The movie though a tad long for a bond flick is surprisingly driven by dialogs, characters and not gadgets for once. Daniel Craig excels as Bond and gives a performance that in my opinion is above and beyond anything I’ve seen in any other Bond movie barring those starring Sean Connery (though I feel compelled to rate Daniel even higher, I’ll wait till his second Bond flick). The sheer physicality, edginess, strength and emotions that he brings to his character is enough to keep you glued to the screen till the very end.
All in all I can safely say that James Bond has just taken rebirth and this time round it’s all for good. I can’t wait to see future Bond movies starring Daniel.
