Hi Guys.
I have some news about the front section’s floor…Actually there is only a ramp and no footsteps. The Ramp leads directly at the escape hatch.

Can anybody, indentify the type of the hampden’s drift sight?

Another question is:

Looking at all B/W pictures, the ventral escape hatch is open, but no door is vissible. Where does it go? Do they remove it during crew boarding?

Thank You in advance
Alex

Not quite the whole floor. in my sixth picture there a piece about the size of your hand that’s still attached! :highly_amused:

Glad I could be some help.

Hi Adrian. I doubt if that piece that look to be attached, is a part of the floor, located at the correct place. . It doesnt make any sense…The floor should be attached on the upper side of the bombbay’s beams… not underneath them.

By the way.. I had a reply from the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. They will forward my request to the restoration team. Good news so far.

Thank You.

Dear Adrian
I own lots of pics from this one. However some of your shots are very Helpful. Thank you…

But… the whole floor is missing …everything is seethrough… on that. I’ve got many Hampden and Hereford manuals and nothing dislays the floor inside especially in the front section where I’m interested in.

I guess that both of the museums, will have a picture or an accurate illustrations from my blind area.

Thank You.

hi again

Cees…I have already did! No responce yet. I have also sent the same request to the Canadian Museum!!! I’m waiting.

Mark, yes your high Res pic look better but as you mention too…it doesnt help much though… It looks like a carpet or something which covers the floor there..

Thank you very much for your Help:very_drunk:

Hi Alex,

We’ve got quite a few photos in our ww2images library, have a browse through these and let me know if any might be helpful. If you find anything, send me a pm (private message) and we’ll take it from there.

Hi Mark, thank you for your concern. I do own the most of these pictures. There is only one that shows something from the floor but it is rather blured for me to get any safe conclusion..

Thanks for your kind comments. To tell you the truth, I have already began some progress, but not something important. I’m working on the making of the clear parts. Anyway, I have to get answers on my request asap.

I have not any clear info about these sections marked in red color..and I do not want to work in blind. I will wait.

You are my one and only hope…:very_drunk:

Hi again. Thank U for your kind comments. Gentlemen as always.

Binky Henderson: I spent 3 months for that little Czech Tiger. I’m married, 2 kids, I work all day long for 12 -15 hours, and I usually work on my models every Sunday morning for 5 hours. Compared to the Lancaster, Gladiator, and Whitley (you may take a look at it here: http://forum.keypublishing.com/showthread.php?105300-A-Whitley-story-in-scale), yes…models like the Hind are very easy to be build. Thank you for your comments.

Paul… What shall I say!!! Thank U. I didn’t expect it! I’m glad that the guys on Brit, really like it. However Thank you for your invitation. It is a great honour for me…
Unfortunately I do not have enough time available for the Internet, let alone participate in forums. Even here, on Key forum, I’m trying to show some interest with great difficulty and appreciating the assistance generously offered to me on Whitley, I respond with some of my builds. My English are not so good also.

Thank U once again.

and here is the finished model. I will place it on ground diorama. I do not like the resin weighted wheels.

Τhank U Gentlemen. Your words are very Kind. I’m glad you like it. I didn’t expect it.

Well done Alex – a real masterpice and doublely difficult to do to a high standard as there is very little available information. This is a great acheivement! I would love to see you make a Hampden next!

Hi Elliott,
So nice to hear U again. Thanks for sharing this comment with me. I wouldn’t have done it, without your precious help. Your info were very valuable. This build is devoted to U. You deserve it.
Lets hope that I will find a Hampden’s kit. No signs at the moment. I’m studying that bird already. I’ m really excited with its interior structure. So many levels… I can not imagine my self…moving into this narrow machine.

Key forum will be my valuable guide on this again.

now….how about a Stirling in the same scale ????

My dear friend… The Stirling is a fantastic project for all modellers! But a little Huge, don’t you think so? I wish i could handle such a big model, but I do not have such a huge case to display it! I’d love to make it, it is much easier than the Whitley….but!!!

Anyway thank you for your Kind comments!!! I’m thinking of something smaller…maybe a Hampden!

Thank you all of you, my friends. You make me feel very Happy. Your Help was the most powerful weapon on this build!
