You answered your own question, the Yak-130 is a trainer. It teaches a variety of topics including air-to-air and air-to-ground combat. To do this, it is a good idea to arm the aircraft for the respective lesson.

So to say that the J-20 is superior in any way to any other aircraft in any role is theory only as it has no grounds as nobody on this fourm knows WTF its role is!!!

One could simply say the T-50 PAK-FA is intended to fill a different role than the J-20 therefore is designed differently and the argument would stand as the role of the PAK-FA is already known to be air superiority and attack while while the J-20 has a big frikkin “?” in its mission description.
