It is understood they will fly out in the afternoon, before the Red Arrows display . Wow !

There are twelve Dakotas lined up (more or less ) at DX , but there seem to be no photos on the forums etc actually showing multiple examples in a singe shot. Why, I wonder ?

It will be great to see it, but one has to feel a bit sorry for Bill Greenwood, who operated it for many years, though warbird running costs began rising rapidly, becoming quite a stretch for him.

When it had the sad collision with the Hurricane in Texas in 2008, he was determined to get it back in the air, for him to fly again, but sadly, it seems that dream is now over.

Three Stampes in loose V formation 4 mins ago over Chesham (Bucks ) heading East. For at least one, Headcorn is probably the destination, so at a guess, routing round the top of London then south.
