Did you take out the insurance when you bought the tickets? or do you have travel insurance through your bank (a lot of people have this without even realising)
If you have either of these you would be best to go down that route and make a claim, I can’t see Ryanair honouring the tickets to be honest but I could be wrong.
Incidently Ryanair are doing absolutely free flights at the moment, Krakow is not included in the offer but their are some interesting destinations on offer for free from STN why not book one of these in the meantime?

What is the prob with your tickets? Perhaps someone here could help.
If you check in online you do not get boarding group A, it is something like C and I am also sure that you cannot check in online if you have baggage to go into the hold.
Speedy boarding works fairly well if it is managed well. EDI is very good at it, usually speedy boarders are called to the gate by name. However not all EZY stations are controlled as well.
Nice shots, the Sunair D38 looks great in BA colours
Could be worse, you could be a EDI originating GSM passenger today. Both AGP flights and the NCE flights have delays varying from 5-8 hours.
Didn’t the Malaga go all to pot at the last bank holiday (easter) as well. I remember sitting in the departure lounge at EDI listening to people rant at a 6hr delay with GSM.
I would say too much too soon. Are these genuine ‘tech’ probs or just shortage of a/c?
Nice shots
Anyone know why Eastern were operating for BMI?
Mind you ive not seen any NI advertising yet!
Has anyone seen any advertising for it yet?
There was press releases in most major newspapers regarding the expansion, however since then all has been quiet.
There is a box in the corner of AF’s website advertising new rouotes for Cityjet.
It was about a fortnight after the routes were announced before it was possible to book.
You can’t book at all on Scotairways website, although there is now something on their website saying that they operate the flights and that they are bookable via AF website, surely it would have made sense to be able to book seats on both websites OR Scotairways to have a link through to the AF site to book.
New domestic routes
Ok
Someone mentioned DSA earlier in the thread – perhaps DSA to
EDI
GLA
NQY
SOU
LBA works from the Scottish ones so maybe DSA would also. However this might just move pax from LBA to DSA as opposed to attract new pax, however DSA might be cheaper to land at than LBA??
HUY – Humberside to anywhere north or south
COV – Coventry to anywhere north or south
and I can’t believe no one has already mentioned Southend!!!
I will have to travel to Edimburg for business and one of the options is to fly :
BIQ-STN and STN-PIK.How far/long does it take to drive from PIK to Edimburg?
Why don’t you fly EZY from STN direct to EDI, and if your inbound flight to STN is late EZY are usually more accomodating than FR in situations like that
Longest I have had to wait for a bag was 90 mins at LPA
The shortest was 8 mins – you can’t beet good old LCY for speed, they really do have it sorted
Given the propensity for BA to cut non-profit and low-profit routes from the regions run by BACitiExpress/BAConnect, and the dropping of some long-haul services which were not deemed to be “commercially viable”, I think what I posted is a pretty safe bet!
Will the MAN/JFK route continue to be viable when they have to start shipping crew up and down from either LHR or LGW? And if they come up as passenger on another service that means less seats to sell and less revenue
Hey,
Where are you travelling to and from?
MyTravel UK
GLA/LPA
A 09:30 arrival in EDI is quite late for the business traveller flying LBA-EDI surely?
The BD 409/410 have been retimed, the BD 403/404 the first LBA/EDI service will still run at 0705 for an 0805 arrival into EDI
Depending on when you are travelling, all of the A320s should be fitted with the new interior featuring leather seats and the new seat cushions.
Thanks

two weeks time on the 22nd Jan
I always thought that MOL was a bit bonkers, but after last weeks ministerial rambling you really have to admire the way he bit back with cold hard facts. Confirmed even more so by several Sunday papers stating that the minister in question had been told by the Environment Secretary to zip it.
MOL is not the most professional man in charge of a company but you really have to admire the way he has bit back about the government rambling about aviation hurting the environment and additional taxes etc, perhaps if a few more CEO’s were to stand up and be counted on the environment and APD issues we wouldn’t have such a tax happy government.
Rant over, waits patiently for low flying missiles being fired 🙂
