I think you’ll enjoy this. I know I did !
It won’t be very improving on the original script since, seriously, it was not that good. It’s more down to getting that CGI right. I’m all for it, as much as I love BoB, it feels dated.
It feels dated because 1940 was a long time ago.
That link to the Proms ‘Battle in the Air’ is simply awesome.
Thanks for posting trumper.
I have, and for me it doesnt work as well as Goodwin’s and actually feels quite weird. I think the producers got it right despite Laurence Olivier threatening to walk out if they didnt go with the Walton score.
That must have been a wonderful moment Nightfighter.
For those that do not already have it I recommend sticking it on your xmas list immediately. Available at Amazon.

Nobody has mentioned the outstanding music written for the film by Ron Goodwin and incorporating William Walton’s incredible ‘Battle In The Air’ scherzo.
The music makes the good film a great one. And I dont think the acting is wooden or the script cr@p.
‘Pearl Harbour’ should not even be mentioned in the same breath. One of the cheesiest films Ive ever had the misfortune to see.
Clerget did a 7 cylinder, but the Gnome fits the story better.
The engine looks like a Clerget.
This one probably.

Duxford is not limiting for a Tiger Moth or an Me 109.
Over Shot!!!! At Duxford:confused::confused:
It wouldnt be the first time.
bms44. this is part of something I am trying to influence people with ! that almost every family has … somewhere within their recent history and family members a collection of photos from this period … that may be of no interest to surviving members of the deceased and maybe lost forever ! Keith. 🙂
Some years ago I telephoned the ‘Kent Messenger’ newspaper trying to find a photo of an ME109 my father witnessed being shot down. I was told that a lot of photos from the period were thrown out due to lack of space !!
Congratulations! A fantastic effort. I’m not normally a fan of reduced scale stuff, but everything looks just right with this.
Do you have a build blog or website?
Aerojumbles you have to physically be there, and ebay charge a fee.
There is a ‘classified ads’ section for members over on the First War oriented ‘The Aerodrome’. It seems to work very well and I have found it quite useful.
