Perhaps
So, you think this is an L-15?
That or something new and I do not believe the Chinese would ship a new fighter this way. It doesn’t make sense, especially if they would want to keep it under wraps. Now, if they did want the world to know, they’re on the right track.
I do not believe the PLAAF has an aircraft that can accomodate an ICBM, hence the truck (if that even is an ICBM). The alleged L-15 could probably fit inside of an Il-76. Why not do that?
Knowing or not knowing about the 052C has no bearing on this discussion. I am not a nautical guy. Ships should float, that is about all I know. I don’t see the intake descriptions you indicated on that photo and did we really prove the ICBM to be that?
Looks like an Egyptian flag on that tail too.
Sure?
Really if anything China has is nothing, why all the panic? If you’re trying to convince the believers otherwise, why do the hell do you care? So they get egg on their faces if they’re wrong. But somehow you’re still upset at something.
IMO, I have no idea what it is but it ain’t no L-15. That’s just wishful thinking hiding behind the police state mentality as an excuse that they wouldn’t do that.
If you have no idea what it is, how do you know it’s not an L-15? We have no idea what could be under the tarp. It’s possible a chinese copy of the F-35 may be underneath, but I’ll wait for a better pic before going there.
$$$
Greece doesn’t have the money to go to war right now. With all of the unrest over austerity, the last thing the Greek public will settle for is war with anybody. Even the Turks.
There is a zoom capability that many cameras and cellphones have. I’d bet $$$ that if someone saw the photographer taking the picture, there would be an issue. The picture doesn’t provide enough detail for any intelligent perspective on security. I do not believe every picture I see on the Internet. I know some folks that can make anything look real with Photoshop. Given that, I am skeptical about what I see and can spot most fakes. I never heard of the 052C. Do you mean the ship?
Chill-out
I also think that the shoot-down was a bit overzealous. A single aircraft, from Turkey, is not going to do that much damage even if it were hostile. An interception by a Syrian aircraft with an escort back should suffice.
On the other hand, the Turkish pilots should be aware of their exact position. It’s easy to sit here and quarterback the whole incident, but still the shoot-down was a little much.
I don’t think the Indian T-50s will wind-up with that color scheme. I bet they’ll go with the boring grey they have applied to everything else and toned-down roundels. I don’t see Greece operating the T-50, ever.
Hardly conclusive
And you think it’s a L-15 with that much security? Richard Fisher says that’s the super secret never acknowledged DF-41. Where’s the security for that ICBM? If you don’t need it for an ICBM, why does a L-15 need it?
A single photo example of what appears to be an ICBM is hardly conclusive of PLAAF security practices. The security for the ‘ICBM’ could be outside of the frame, possibly even in un-marked vehicles.
This could also be a false-flag designed to trick western media.
“All war is based on deception” ~ Sun Tzu
The flag on the tail indicates it as an Egyptian MiG-21. Syria does not usually put a roundel on the fuselage either.
No secret
Everyone one knows the PRC has an ICBM force. To that end, it is not tough to determine what they might look like. The existence of a smaller stealth fighter isn’t ‘known’ yet. Yet…
Surely the Venezuelans can not afford to give away F-16 airframes so easily?
Isn’t the type under embargo from the USA? Surely Venezuela needs to hang on to every F-16 and, more importantly, the spare parts that they contain, to keep their F-16 fleet flying?
The F-16 is not the only big stick in AMBV inventory. They have the Su-30 in similar numbers.
No
I do not think the Chinese would transport something like that out in the open. Despite being under cover, many conclusions can be drawn and there is the actual presence of the machine itself. I think it is an L-15, simple.
F-16 inside of a Boeing 707?
How did they fit an F-16, even disassembled, inside of a Boeing 707? I have been inside the 707 combis and can’t even see how the fuselage of an F-16 would fit let alone each wing. They would really have to break the aircraft down into very small pieces for this to happen. Why not use a C-130 or an Il-76? I am sure Mr. Chavez can get his hands on a non-descript Il-76.
Maybe>
It certainly is not stealth with that probe sticking out of the nose.
you don’t think its stealth?
how about this one
