RE: Birmingham International Airport (UK)
I dont know much about BHX but what you tell me looks serious problemn for the airport. Not having parking space for big birds and being rated as the 5th busiest airport, thats terrible. Air India used to fly there but they stopped there service due to losses and availability of aircrafts. Yes Emirates is having succes all over UK and Europe. U know so may people migrate all over Europe and Emirates is not very expensive to travel in. BHX should solve this problemn asap otherwise the way the traffic is increasing in the UK…they r gonna face serious troubles.
RE: Captain’s seat
Ohhh yes…they are very comfortable. I sat on the captains seat of a B767 of SAS and it was very comfy. The jump seat of the 767 is also very good. The captains need these kind of seats for long hour flights.
RE: spectators areas in the UK airports.
In Lodon Heathrow there is a nice one and you can take all pics u lik. I am not very sure but i think there is one in EDI airport. Not sure but confident on Heathrow.
RE: New web site
Cool webmaster…..it looks great
RE: Help!!!
THANX GUYS:-)
RE: American Airlines ( as in IN the US )
Hi,
know why do you call this ridiculuous?? Yes airlines like United and all have monopoly in USA and i think these small airlines are very useful. DOnt forget 40% of the world air traffic is in USA. These airlines must be offering better rates than other majour airlines. And remember all these majour airlines can end up like TWA and Pan Am. So these small airlines maybe tommorows majour airlines.

RE: Ugliest Aircraft?
Yeah….the BAe 146 looks quite nice to me although I have only traveled in it once in Druk Air of Bhutan and i had an ok flight.
RE: Would you…….?
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH KELTIC…..forget about a can of beer they all deserve a barel of beer. Concorde is the most elegent and graceful looking bird in the skies today and we must put up a fight agains the people who want it shut down…and i can tell you you will see it soo…..very soon.
RE: Ugliest Aircraft?
Know know….everybody have there own choices. I see many people infact most of you all find the Il-62 bad while i find it nice to look at. It depends upon the taste of a persone….dont u think. And as i repeat again….no aircraft is ugly…all are state of the art machines. As for the 757…its a gorgeous aircraft to look at and it has a very good performence i believe. Royal Nepal Airways operates a single 757 wich has a route frm Kathmandu(capital of Nepal)-New Delhi-Dubai-Jordan-Frankfurt and finally London. I feel sorry fr the 757;)…but aircrafts are made to fly…so not much of a problemn. Taking pics of aircrafts is my hobbie although in India photography at airports is illeagle.
But i am allowed to do it with a special pass from IATA i got recently to take photographs anywere in India except on flights. Have any ideas why would any countrie ristrict on taking photographs??
RE: Iberia
I visited the Iberia site just a moments ago and mailed them as u suggested. I also met a former aviation journalist of the magezine fleet and asked for his openions on Iberia and i was very impresed the way he respected Iberia. He said maybe there fleet is not new but he thinks it is better then BA.
cheers
Kabir
HEY…This message is no. 1000 of this Forum:-)
RE: Iberia
As u say Keltic that the airline flew to India but ceased operations because of the small ocupancy but everything is changed know. People might not choose Iberia if it comes to India but might choose it to goto UK,France and the US and as u might be knowing that there is a big rush of Indians in these 3 countries I have mentioned. And know the Indian population is overflowing and more and more Indians are migrating to other contries i think Iberia will be very succesful here if it comes.
How is the fleet of Iberia?? What planes do they use for long haul flights?
