Thanks. Three new confirmations, to report:
1214 (c/n N6190, 10529)

1258 (c/n N6354, 21167)

Thanks for the useful links. There is one very interesting photo of a flight of five:
http://tw.myblog.yahoo.com/jw!.KIr8_yUEQNNnVB41BD7ldG1/photo?pid=1017
Unfortunately only 1219/69178 (another new one) is easy to see. Do you know the source of the photo? It might be possible to obtain all 5 tie-ups from the original photo.
I will include 21275/”1101″ on the next cumulative list.

is the “aviation parks” page in the ROC aviation history Website. Have you tried the photos of the preserved F-5A/B here?Other non-Chinese Netters previously complained the links failed because the URLs contain Chinese fonts. Do they fail on you too?
I looked at that site when I was in Taiwan last year, but unfortunately I can’t access it over here in the UK because of the fonts. If you can find any more confirmations on that site, I ‘d be pleased to hear from you.
Looking at your crashes, three of the serials are usually quoted as below, although I have not seen photo proof.
Before / in 1979:
F-5A-30. 66-09182. C/N N.6286.
>> 1223
Before / in 1973:
F-5A-45. 69-07104. C/N N.6470.
>> 1274
Before / in 1973:
F-5A-30. 66-14458. C/N N.6312.
>> This is one of the “problem” machines in the 124_ series. There is one too few FMS serial in this area. Only 14458 and 14459 appear to be candidates for ROCAf serials 1243, 1244, 1245.
1241 (c/n N6311, 14457)
1242 (c/n N6314, 14460)

1247 (c/n N6316, 14462)
1248 (c/n N6317, 14463)
All the above are unconfirmed by photos.

has at least 1201 and 1212.This is the historic “F-5 Freedom Fighter Turnover Ceremony” on 1965.12.09.
AFAIK, 1201 crashed on 1966.02.23.
Thanks again, very useful.
Most sources I have seen quote 24Feb66 as being the date of the loss of 1201.

More ROCAF F-5A/Bs and T-38As?
Seriously, if you’ve a list of ROCAF F-5 and T-38 ROCAF and non-ROCAF serial numbers, please post it.
Last week, I just began to on-line research a bit about ROCAF F-5 and T-38 crashes, and can use these serial numbers for comparison.
Thanks for the link, although I can’t seem to access the “1st Generation” link in it which might provide some F-5A/B photos. I’ve only just started looking into the F-5A/B, and have so far found photos confirming:
F-5A
1207 (c/n N6100, 13331)
1210 (c/n N6183, 10522)
1220 (c/n N6283, 69179)
1224 (c/n N6287, 69183)
1226 (c/n N6288, 69184)
1229 (c/n N6292, 69188)
1235 (c/n N6305, 69201)
1270 (c/n N6464, 97098)
1281 (c/n N6482, 97116)
F-5B
1104 (c/n N8045, 69237, at Gangshan Museum incorrectly marked 69257)
1105 (c/n N8047, 69239)
1112 (c/n N8130, 31611)
1113 (c/n N8131, 31612)
1116 (c/n N8134, 40776)
Note that the F-5As do not run in strict FMS order (1224 is 69183, but 69184 is 1226). This is why I am looking for photos to confirm others.
The F-5E/Fs are all well-known.
Regards,
Andy Marden
Today is your lucky day. Try:
B&W photo of ROCAF F-5A 1210 (10522) and comrades. The d_mn canopies block the ROCAF serial numbers. 8(
Thanks. Pity the top photo is not in high resolution for identification of the aircraft in the back row!
Andy
Dave,
Thanks. Yes, seen that site, but nothing conclusive learned to help me solve the problem.
Regards,
Andy Marden
Do you have a lat / long where these are located?
Buddha,
I was also at Batajnica.
The Mi-24s were at:
N44.93601, E20.24039
N44.93563, E20.23987
They’re not there on Google Earth.
Andy Marden
…but a pretty rare scheme for the subject, harkening back to Viggen days!
Yes, very rare, because it’s been photoshopped.
That “photo” is clearly at RIAT, 2009 I reckon.
It was grey!
Andy Marden
Is that a book or a web site?
It’s a book, published by Mach III.
Andy
Hi!!
I tried to find this aircraft on the internet and there is no mention of it anywhere. Could this be a new survivor?
Paul
Paul,
It’s at Muak Lek, and has been there since April 1995 at least, as listed in my “World Military Out of Service”.
Its serial has never been established.
Regards,
Andy Marden
Nice! The other one is TZ-406. They supplement TZ-404 and TZ-405 delivered to Mali back in 2007.
Is TZ-406 confirmed? I only ask because TZ-406 is already in use as a Humbert Tetras microlight, as seen in a photo in one of the earlier threads in this series.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Flex, where is this MiG displayed ? Wich town in morocco ?
It is displayed inside the grounds of the Air Force maintenance facility at Casablanca/Anfa.
