I’m looking for photos of Egyptian F-4Es showing both their Egyptian serial and USAF serial (on the tail).
As an example, 7811/70238 is below.
I’m particularly looking for:
7802/7803/7805/7806/7807/7808
7810/7812/7817/7818
7821/7822/7824/7825/7827/7828/7829
7830/7831/7832/7833/7834/7835
Thanks for any help.

Finland used it up to the 80’s, and I most smile :highly_amused: of why they bought it, and how they used it 🙂
“Finland also obtained five Il-28Rs and one Il-28 in the 1960s, with three of these converted to target tugs. Ironically, the Finns used their Il-28Rs to spy on the neighboring “Bear” to the east, skirting the border and then drifting over when the coast seemed clear to inspect any suspicious activity on the eastern side of the fence. The local Soviet air defense command found the Finnish Beagles a persistent nuisance, but never managed to shoot one down. It is interesting to wonder if the Soviets ever thought, when they sold the Il-28Rs to Finland, who besides the USSR the Finns felt they really needed to keep an eye on.”

The numbers are incorrect. Finland received three Il-28Rs and one Il-28
Ken,
How about the most important new platform: the F-35…..

That will be from Khartoum. Strikemaster 142, MiG-21US 300, and Provost 101 are preserved outside the Military Museum. Google Earth: N15.61986, E32.54245
They had arrived by 9/2012 and were still there 10/2015.
The usually quoted Egyptian serial 5068 seems wrong to me. It is out of sequence with all other known MiG-21U.
5608 would make far more sense.

Nubin, your #2675 also shows a Jet Provost/Strikemaster in front of the MiG,,any idea when/where it was taken,or details of JP/Strikey…?
The imagery is from Wadi Seidna, dated Dec15. Co-ordinates 15.80594, 32.51222

14 quick-reaction AT-802F Air Tractors.
To be pedantic, the fleet actually consists of:
5 AT-802A (single-seat)
1 AT-802AF
8 AT-802F
In addition to the “new” one mentioned by Benno, a quick CTRL+F through EMOOS turns up these:
Czech Republic
T-34B 144115/N7041U based with the warbird collection at Mnichkovo Hradiste
Spain
T-34A E.17-20/EC-GMD with the Fundacion Infante de Orleans at Cuatro Vientos.
T-34A E.17-24/EC-JKM with the Parc Aeronautic de Catalunya at Barcelona/Sabadell
There was a Turkish one flying a few years back, but I don’t think its airworthy any more.

I saw one of these in the car park at Quackertown, Pennsylvania in 1987 – but no marks & no idea which one.
That was XS694
Nicaragua. Not sure what plane. But the wingroundel with the white triangle is visible. Interesting is the finflash with yellow band
Vultee BT-13 Valiant
Ethiopia Air Force Boeing 757
Anyone a better picture of it?
I wouldn’t say better, but here is another photo:

AFAIK XS691/64-18265 was broken up at Edwards in 1970.
