I saw 16 or so Bulldogs at Kaduna in early 2006. They all looked fit for the scrapman then, being sat outside in various stages of dereliction.

Coach, that is one precious picture because it shows two never before seen serials for the Myanmarese MiGs. So far the highest serial recorded was 27-11 and the provided 27-24 and 27-25 got me thinking – are we eventually looking at some new delivery batch? Maybe even MiG-29SMT?
Many thanks, anyway..
Actually, they have been published before, they were in my World Updates section in the Electronic Military Aviation Review (@MAR) – January 2012 issue 🙂
They are not SMT, they appear to be the same standard as previous deliveries.
Three were seen in early January: 2724, 2725, 2726.
By the way, I think the photo shows 2724 and 2726

Tony,
That is a very noble idea, but what exactly are they supposed to build, given that they have no orders!
I have every sympathy with the workers at Brough, but I suspect if BAE had made a truly commercial decision everything would have moved to Warton years ago.

I’m a bit slow on Russian read.. where are this repair plant located TR1?
It is at Krasnodar.
Andy
No, you don’t need to be corrected. The location is Dersmdorf, where there are 3 MiG-21s and one Su-22:
560 Mikoyan MiG-21M
23+88 Mikoyan MiG-21U-400
23+95 Mikoyan MiG-21U-600
25+17 Sukhoi Su-22M4
Another MiG-21 is preserved, behind the aero club.

Anyone have details of a Hudson loss off Bergen, Norway?
Possibility is an aircraft of 320 Sqdn (Dutch crew)
TIA
Dave
You did not say, but I assume you are trying to identify the aircraft recently found underwater?
Andy
The cockpit is indeed in Germany, part of a collection run by the Sammler & Hobbywelt company in Alten-Buseck:

Also, the O-2 is not BDF, it is a warbird on the US civil register.
I was under the impression that the Mirage F1 was withdrawn from Jordanian service some years ago.

I was under the impression that 18 red was the former 1008, not 1006.
Two other Armenian single-seaters seen are 83 red and 85 red, which using the same logic would be the former 8073 and 8075.

I always find it slightly “amusing” when a spotter-unfriendly airfield is threatened with closure and then starts asking for support from the entire aviation community. Some of them then wonder why they don’t get any support from the enthusiast community! (whilst looking on jealously and the support given to the friendlier places)
Andy
Back from Iraq, they have all been passing through Prestwick.

It is now N133CR, and was active in July this year.
I don’t know where it is based – anyone?

Thanks for the info! So these birds are not in Russia, nor in Belarus? Unless the Google Earth pictures were made a couple of years ago.
The pictures are old. The date should be in the bottom left corner of your screen:
Pune – 1 Mar 10
Bareilly – 28 Oct 10
The aircraft were all taken to Baranovichi, Belarus
Andy
Four were stored at Bareilly, the other 14 at Pune.
