    It had all started on friday with the 757 going tech, a767 was despatched from manchester to take passengers away.However there was still a excel 757 there on friday night and two there on saturday morning so im :confused: as to what actually happened.
    There should be two types of aircraft for excel that are scheduled to use GLA a 757 and a 737 one of which i beleive is actualy an Air Atlanta.(757)
    Did you per chance catch the aircraft that Kanaus Fc flew into Gla on last week?

    It must have been the weekend for tech problems with aircraft.Excel had problems at the weekend from Glasgow.
    And in this mornings paper Britainna experienced problems too.
    Their aircraft due too leave to Majorca at 6:30am went tech re slotted for 16:00 in the afternoon. Replacement aircraft arrived and took off , only to circle Glasgow for an hour due to a fault, and I presume shed fuel only to land back at Gla.

    I would have to agree with those in favour of regional airports , they may be small be in many cases the type of aircraft using them is diverse. This could also apply to european countries also .
    Comments made regarding lesser known countries and what type of aircraft they use would also be interesting.

    Steve can confirm that it was shown on sky one and yes your first thoughts were correct ,the biggest load of mince ever. Mind you i thought the airport they used looked like Stansted.

    There was a Brit Albino that positioned into GLA on Tuesday to take Celtic FC to there European Cup Match could it be there is more than one ? The GLA one was night stopping in Lithuainia

    zoom has a flight that departs out of glasgow at 1:00pm on a monday until the end of october rumour is that it has only one aircraft. Which is doing various fligts from uk airports
