No its not true and no it won’t be on the line.
Thanks, a shame indeed.
Will the fw190 be flying this year, Or just out on the line?
I heard a rumour that it now has a permit to fly, is this true?
Just dropping this on this thread for anyone that hasnt seen my footage of the DC6 at Biggin Hill this year.

Afternoon At Duxford
Carolyn Grace flew into Duxford in ML407 this afternoon. Then a lovely display of TFCs Spitfire MK Vb followed by a good 10 minute display of TFCs Mustang ‘Miss Velma’. Both piloted by surely one the masters of warbird display flying, Pete Kynsey.
We had a very nice beat up and victory roll by a spitfire here at wattisham this morning. looked great in the morning sunlight.
Excellent, did you see which one it was?
The Freshest, Thank you for posting that, 3mins 41secs of big wide smile for me ! Keith.
You really can’t beat the sound of those radials, Im sure its like having 4 Bearcats together. Awesome.
Thought it wasnt worth starting a whole new thread for this so Im posting it on here. Please say if you object.
This is a short video that I shot of DC6 British Eagle at the Biggin Hill airshow. Enjoy

Not especially the version from Biggin Hill – but…

No the version from Biggin Hill is very different from this. It seems almost spiritual when combined with the sound of the merlin of MH434.
The twin -finned machine may well have been the MH Broussard which flew over Amersham at lunchtime, escorted by an RV4, which was scampering around it. They were headed towards DX.
Thats the one, I foolishly forgot it actually said Broussard on the side. But ‘Grumpy’ was however parked outside of the ARCo Hangar Nash.
Grumman Goose over Maidstone, heading east………. about 0855 11/06/08.
Heard it coming and sounded GORGEOUS!
A twin tailed aircraft with a throaty radial flew into Duxford today not sure what it was though, has anyone any ideas?
i think it might need some wings first!!
i don’t know, but i would imagine next year would be a good bet, but if its sooner great. Welcome addition to the uk scene though. Can’t beleive its a year since ngng left. My god i’m getting old….
I spoke to one of the TFC engineers, he told me that although the fusealage is coming back it would be up to 3 years before she flies again!
Saw a single Tornado powering out from Biggin Hill at 8 oclock this morning whilst on my way to work!
Saw Peter Teichmans Mustang heading out from Biggin Hill about 30 mins ago, got a lovely view as it passed over my house. But not as good a view as this afternoon when I was in a field near Biggin Hill when the B-25 and P-51 came in below the tree tops directly at me at the start of their display, I wish I had caught it on film it was a real experience, so so low!
