no seriously the site is looking good and it’s come quickly as well. Good luck!
Hasn’t there already been a thread on this?
If my memory serves me right I think they base 1×737-800 in winter and possibly 2×737-800 in summer. This may now have changed however?
Wozza – do you really want people to ‘scour’ the website!!!?
I was under the impression that the 757-200 were being used on the Tenerife flights
Whenever anyone mentions Cyprus Airways I can’t help but think of Maria from ‘Airport’ and the inevitable disaster on every flight
Love that dash-8 one, btw which airline is the last one with the euro tail?
Wise move – and no doubt the pilot must feel some pressure from Ops due to the cost/hassle involved.
All you need to insert into the machine is a bank bard with your name on it – so the card you used would be perfect.
🙂
I thought the point was he’d cancelled the card? 🙂
Think the reasoning behind STN and not LTN may be something to do with STN being identified as London’s 3rd airport and also the airport that would be used in times of hijacking. But I’m willing to be corrected!
David
Ah.. this could be the reason as Stansted has that long runway for diverted longhaul aircraft. Thanks for the help
Great pics. Do you know whether all of the fleet has Chatham Historic Dockyard on the nose now that they all wear the Union Flag livery?

Nice shots! I especially like G-OOOG in the all white – didn’t realise the engine covers were white/green either.
This is unbelievable! But if it was devised in the 70’s why is Stansted on it but not Luton? I may be wrong but i thought Luton was originally bigger than Stansted until the rebuild in the 90’s?
Hiya I’ve had a quick glance at the BMI Site and they say you will need the ‘ID’ you used when booking the ticket – in your case debit card. They do say however that they will issue a paper ticket for £10 fee however as you’re travelling sat this may not be possible. WHy not give them a ring – you may be able to find a way round this
