It’ll be a shame to see the -300/-500 series going, but on the bright side it’s promising that BA are investing in LGW, there was talk not that long ago of it being scaled back dramatically.

Lovely shots there Chris, the Finnair 757 with winglets is my personal favourite of the bunch 🙂

    Congratulations, Phil! 🙂

I think I felt more nervous about the theory test than I did during the practical. I was made to feel at ease, hence only making one very small ****-up during the three-point-turn.

😀 Thanks Mike, I have to admit that I was pretty nervous about the hazard perception as I didn’t do any practice for it – and indeed failed one clip for over clicking!
The 3 point turn seems to be ok, as long as I don’t do it too quickly – though practice with my parents is a very different experience to going out with the instructor 🙂

Had my Chemistry Practical today – didn’t seem too bad but I’m now trying not to dwell on it!:p

However, Ryanair actually is owned by Ryans. Can anyone comment on the Ryanair ownership structure – who are the owners?

Well, Ryanair is quoted on several stock exchanges, though maybe the Ryans and certainly O’Leary own a fair chunk of it?

It went surprisingly well. I passed and it was my first attempt. Scored one minor as a result of stalling half way into my three point turn! 😡

    Well done Mike 😀
Got my Chem practical on Tuesday and then driving theory on Wednesday :p

    Hi Si,
The two FCAs are my favourites, for the reflections on the underside of the 763 and the panning on the 752 😀
