Yep – you’re right there, as my sister is crew for Excel, and all the documentation, critical paths to departure etc. for this summer are based around the -300 for Travelcity.

    Air Atlanta
Avion Group has purchased 7 B747-400s (6 passenger and 1 cargo) ; 4 of the passenger aircraft will be converted to freighters by Boeing at which point all 5 cargo aircraft will be operated by Air Atlanta replacing older B747-200 Freighters. The 2 passenger aircraft are to be operated in the Excel Airways Group in the Travel City fleet. The 6 passenger aircraft are coming from All Nippon Airways, the cargo aircraft is coming from Cargolux.

    From Justplanes.

Great report – interesting to here your views – my brother went Heathrow-San Jose connecting in Madrid with Iberia last year and thought the Iberia experience was fine. What size are the photos?

Well to be honest the viewing gallery isn’t exactly great – so a new area would, in principle, be good. However “subject to security restrictions and other considerations” whether one will actually appear is a completely different matter.

Really nice shots there well done!!
What traffic package have you got installed?

I’ve created (rather creating) my own from scratch! A lengthy but rewarding task!

EDIT: I have ultimate traffic but have found it so user un-freindly and frame rate impacting that I’ve ditched it!

Me neither but on an episode of “Airport” [BBC] – a bmi A321 was struck and it made a small hole in the fuselage. No danger to pax or crew – however the aircraft was given a fire engine escort down the runway.
