TerryP, that makes for some interesting reading- do you have anything similar for the centre panel as well?
Collecting up some of the parts to hopefully make one up in the future …. any help on repro centre panel would be a big bonus if anyone can help?

A shame she could not of been saved – used as a museum ship/FAAM extension and even used below decks as HMS Bristol replacement for cadets etc.
There seems very little of the late 60’s through to the modern day navy preserved and when it is it is a struggle and the vessels normally end up with the cutters torch or half submerged rotting away.
The big public fight/funds just not there …… imagine the uproar if the maths worked out BBMF lose one spit to cover the carrier costs.
The militaria shop in badshot lea has a Stuka model from the Battle of Britain movie – so I think. It has been in the shop since I can remember buying some items as a child in the early eighties. You can see it in google street view in the window.

Just down the road last night watching the same things at the model flying club. We were checking ads-b exchange and spotted A319’s heading Luton/I think one east mids- Aberdeen/Edinburgh 400 kts, 38000 feet I remember.
