Odd choice, a connection with another avro aircraft would of been nice and again a chance to aid seeing something rare and unique in the skies.

Looks a very dodgy set of clips.
Has the Western Daily Press got this wrong?
http://www.westerndailypress.co.uk/
It will be a sight few across the West will see again. XH588 will fly a couple more times this summer at specific events before being retired for good thanks to aviation regulations about the life-expectancy of its parts
Paul,
They are correct, there is mean’t to be at least two more flights to go. Nothing on where and when yet. Post from official feeds indicated this over the weekend.
Rob
This one on eBay says GR4 and has the part number in one of the pics – if the 731 is still with it you might be able to confirm aircraft type to part number.

I was asking the same – a couple of ‘cheap’ examples about at the moment.
They look the same in basic form to me – pt no / nsn may show different?
Facebook has status – nose wheel problem orbiting prestwick
Did you sort out a Hurricane?

Jet driver – any links on where to get parts? Mine coming along nicely.
There are some UC levers on the UK eBay site at the moment.
Will anyone be displaying their panels/cockpits at the Great Yorkshire Airshow?

I hope all get well soon and that the machine is repaired. I watched it perform last September at an airshow in France and it gave a very good display, surprised at what it could do and how it could be flown.

Mine is the two blade one with the open canopy mod – mate put 3 blade prop on.
That one is no more.
Hi,
I only fly electric RC and fly the old eflite hurricane from horizon hobby. It came with everything bar the retracts but I got them fitted. They are hard to come by as kits now but you can pick the odd one up eBay or somewhere like the RCGroups sale pages.
Another one is the Dynam Hurricane – http://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/product/DYN8966/dynam-hawker-hurricane-mki-1270mm-w-o-tx-rx-batt
Pretty much complete and looks OK apart from the wrong type of flaps.
TopRC I think do a couple of mini sized ones and there are a couple of other cheaper brand ones about – but avoid.
Last one I can think of for electric is ‘windrider’ they did a foam kit that looked good but required some work to get up.
I love the eflite hurri, so much so that I have one flyer and a brand new one in the loft as a ‘spare’. Mate also has the same – I shall try and find a pic
