Has anyone seen any pictures of progress been made on CVF since the first cutting pictures?
Does anyone with ship building knowledge know what the progress will look like. I imagine they are just cutting lots of sheets just now and then will start putting them together like a big jigsaw. The assemble these jigsaws into a bigger jigsaw and then put them together to start making the blocks?

Some very large pieces of carrier have been finished at DML’s Appledore yard and left recently to kick start the hull/s…..

Am I hallucinating or did this thread go, this morning, to historic aviation and then come back to general discussion?

No your not, it moved, then got moved back again.

I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.

I believe that signing off is down to each individuals preference and they should do what they feel comfortable with and not what each member thinks they should do. If they feel strongly about a topic that they need to express their feelings on the matter then that is fine but should consider that other peoples views on their departure might not be to their liking.

With this said other readers should also respect the views of the departing member and just let them leave without any more song or dance.

So are you saying we should ~not~ appeal for them to think long & hard about leaving and thus let valuable contributors leave ?

Somehow i think this ‘open wound’ will continue to hemorrhage for a while yet until somebody, somewhere actually does something about it !!!!!!!!!

I suspect you don’t know Propstrike’s identity then?

No. Care to enlighten me ?

If he’s royality, i may suitably grovel.

People are angry, they feel they are being treated as ‘the little people’ they hate to see the Forum losing knowledgeable contributors with no explanation and are using the only weapon they have to voice a protest.

    Well said.
