I was not having a go at you moderators , I simply believe this issue needs to remain on front page till there is an explanation , otherwise some may think if they remain quiet long enough it will simply go away .
Make it a sticky ?

Can’t see a Vulcan, but surprised to see stuff like C-47 and C-54 in a bombers of WWII set.
The Spanish issues you can already pick up from a good toyfair for around £7 and i can highly recommend them. Certainly a good alternative to Corgi stuff.
.
There was an article in an old Warbirds Worldwide about them. I no longer have my collection of WW…..
😮 sacrilege !! A most excellant magazine.
If anyone can recall roughly which issue, i’ll look it up from my issues (that i’ll be buried with) :diablo:

Front end of a Varsity no reserve and not a lot of price at the moment
Strange, i thought i mentioned that t’other day ?

Andy,
I’ve asked about blocking PM ‘spammers’ in the past but there isn’t a way to block offenders except if you add them to your Ignore List which means you also don’t get to see the juicy, irrational and sometimes bizarre statements they make on a public worldwide forum, as the system blocks all posts, PM’s etc… by them.
.
Don’t get excited. You ain’t seen the screen yet !! But i guess it’s better than now’t (just)
Think i have at least one panel knurled retaining nut as well.

Martin,
Actually i was up to nefarious activities in the countryside when one flew over the cuckoo’s nest. 😀
Well actually a singleton followed by a pair about 5 mins later sometime between 7-8pm Sunday. Three Austers returning with haggis i presume ?
.
I’ve just spent a week touring Scotland in an Auster and had a wonderful time.
And did you get back about 8pm Sunday night by chance ?
.
…..Back to you Dave!
I thank you. (takes bow)
Although no offers of parts for us as a direct result of this thread yet, i have a lead on a r/h main panel for you plus a confirmed price on those weapons control panels now.
Cheers…

Richard you are a wag. I wonder where i could find one ? ![]()

Still looking for Harrier bits to help ‘806 and other cockpits such as Pagen’s XZ993, especially upper left quadrant of a moving map display.
Meanwhile time for a little update now work has commenced starting with a before and after type photo…..

Can you clarify which was the AV-8B that was at Wyton?

The museum idea would be nice, but in reality neither I nor my friend, and others I know, have had any luck with museums, I personally have either been met with it the kind of response along the lines we would be happy for you to give it to us, or sorry we dont have anything for trade or silly offers, best was a repro BFP and battered trainer panel for a major WW2 Bomber throttle Box, same museum has a very long list of wants needless to say. Another good one was after offering a rare rudder pedal assembly a group needed for their cockpit was to be told, I would have to wait 3 months until the committee next met and discussed it, no thanks, said cockpit is still pedal less, 6 years on.
The best of all when I approached a museum who had a stripped out cockpit, I had acquired 80% of the parts they needed, I offered them the stuff, I was met with sorry don’t want it, so I asked if they wanted to sell the cockpit so I could restore it, and was told we are going to restore it (for which my first thought was how ? if you don’t want the parts???????), then less than 12 months later after I had got rid of my stuff, I by chance found out they now wanted to sell it !!!!!
Those parts have now left the UK and that cockpits best shot at ever being restored has gone.
Oh mate… that is ~exactly~ how it is IMHO, especially the committee bit ![]()
