Lavley, although I can’t remeber the last time I saw a BA 319 at BHX! 😀 I could nitpick it to death but Hey I ain’t that bad :diablo:.
😮
lol
coming in from Edinburgh
after that, another (in from Perpignan)
after that, another BAe

GA on circuits
low cost My Travel
an overview of the busy terminal
when i have time, Milan is up next, but that may be the last one, as flights are much more interesting…
thanks 🙂

continuing the AI theme, here’s Birmin’am.
what a surprise…
will push back in 18 minutes for a flight to Newcastle
parked up. it will depart shortly
resting before its next flight

a spotter from the end of the rwy shoots the BA A319
and again…
pushing back
a quiet ramp. is it really this quiet?
Cessna. i believe it departed for Save a short while after.

hi
textures need to be sourced from the various download sites. i try avsim first, and if i can’t find a texture that i need, i go to Flightsim.com where i am usually successful.
PAI textures cannot be used with FSP models. this rule applies across flight sim: only textures that are specifically created for a specific model can be used. just as a project opensky 747-400 texture cannot be used on a Meljets 747-400 and vice versa.
u need to find the textures that are designed to be used with the aircraft model. a texture has to be made for a particular model.
if TCX is Thomas Cook, then for their textures, try search terms like ‘thomas cook FSPainter’ in avsim.
– with AIA (AI Aardvark), the textures for their aircraft can be taken from their website. AIA for 727s,737s,747s,757s,767s,DC-9s, MD-8Xs, MD-90s, ERJ-170/5s
– FSPainter, the textures and models need to be taken from the download sites like avsim and flightsim.com. use FSP for all Airbus aircraft (inc. the A300,A310 (except the A321), 777, Fokker 50, Saab 340b (although be careful with this one as FSPainter took the PAI model and updated it making it better for AI purposes, make sure you get the ‘pure’ FSP model), ATR42s (although FSP shares more or less the same model as PAI)
– Evolve AI for A321, ERJ-140/5s, DC-10s – access via Evolve AI
– CDAI for b1900D, CRJ-200/700, L1011 – access via Evolve AI
– DJC, for BAe Jetstream 41, Fairchild Merlin and Metroliner. access via Evolve AI
– Dee Waldron, and Henry Tomkiewicz have produced lots of models for smaller types, mostly bizjets and GA- http://81.208.92.5/dee_cp/fs_projects/index.html
– FMAI for your BAe 146. some textures are available on avsim. i can’t locate the model – perhaps some detective work for you 😀 😀 😉
i don’t know where to get the Dash 8 from, although it is suggested on ‘other’ forums to use the PAI models for these aircraft
hope that helps 🙂
you need to create a bit of ‘land’ as a ‘.bgl’ file. something that AFCAD doesn’t do. no idea how to do it myself, and i think its quite complex (not meaning to put you off). you need some kind of scenery creation software – ive just looked on avsim, perhaps these are what you need:
SBuilder 2.05
FSDEM 1.1
rwy12_program_v1.2.zip
http://www.rwy12.com/rwy12/index.php – once ‘built’ u can have items on your island like buildings – it allows you to place objects in flight sim – MASSIVE set of downloads though (u need to download the object files)
if you were building your airport on land already available, and flat, it would be much easier, but hey. here, you want to create a new piece of land, which is altogether more complex. try the microsoft flight sim official website developers section to see if there are any SDKs that you need – ‘Software Development Kits’
if i am talking utter gibberish, then please, someone feel free to correct me
hope it helps
‘Adiemus’ by Karl Jenkins
go onto avsim, and look for an ‘AFCAD’ for the IFSD scenery. then download it, and unzip the file into your ‘Flight Simulator/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder.
should be solved.
hope it helps
awesome, beautiful video. great choice of music, too. I love Adiemus
wow. that 757 is just so cool. great shots!
Phil, more shots please!!

cool, if u need any other help, just ask and i’ll try 🙂
😮 you’ve fallen into the AI trap! no! grab onto the rope!!! now! quick!!! lol
lol. if thats what you are doing – replacing or creating AI from scratch i can tell you that you’ll have an interesting ride. you’ll start adding/replacing some models, then you’ll want to add/replace just a few more and so on. its addictive!
to answer your q, this is the pack you need for the base models:
ai_airbus_complete_120685.zip from avsim.
to get textures, you have to download them separately from avsim or whereever. FSPainter doesn’t have a website which really makes finding and downloading all the textures you want a very slow process.
i haven’t replaced my A300s yet, but have replaced the A330 fleets. i was unable to find a Monarch new colours texture for the A330, as you’ll see in my screenshots on the other thread (notice the lousy plug there, lol  ) – i use their old one.
incidentally, just finsihed replacing my ERJ145s 😀 😀
btw, use FSPainter for all Airbus aircraft
except the A321 – use Evolve AIs A321
use AI Aardvark for your Boeing models (they have a grat website which directs you to all the paints that you need. very helpful), but get your 777 from FSPainter.
hope that helps
“Bristols” with the same livery as Hooters… 😉 :dev2:
LMAO
