BA, SAA, CP heavies parked up in the maintenance area. the closest BA 747 has just spent two nights in maintenance

there isn’t much variety; mostly BA a/c which get boring after a while.

i’m going to continue the AI spotting theme with a world tour of major airports. where should i go next? any ideas/requests? lol :p

i decided to do some ‘AI spotting’ at LHR (recently been replacing old, rubbish PAI models with AI Aardvark and FSpainter models – just got some A320s and A330s to finish) – i haven’t got time to do any flying atm, so here are a few shots from Heathrow – all of the aircraft in these shots are AI. tried to make a little ‘story’ out of some of the shots.

back to the US. will shortly be going into a major ‘C’ check back at base.

what are the specifications of your computer?

it looks like you have static aircraft installed with that Uk2000 scenery. these static aircraft look flat because thats how they are designed – not very good at all, and you can disable them. they are VERY basic models provided with Uk2000, so i would suggest disabling them and disabling the aircraft AI that comes with the addon.

Oh, how do you get those yellow ‘things’ on the engine?

its part of the Captain Sim model. ‘eye candy’ type thing. very cool.

It is, and it’s not a bad piece of kit. Unfortunately though, money is really tight, so I could only afford the actual model (block A) and have had to whack my own panel and sound on there. Mind you, for £5.99, it’s pretty decent value and a amazing improvement on the POSKY 757s.

sounds like the 50N. although, buying your aircraft in parts is an interesting idea.
