being the weirdo he is, it won’t be a surprise to many if he is charged with child abuse.

apparently the ‘E’ stands for ‘Efficient’, ‘Eco-friendly’, ‘E-mail’, etc etc

last July, i went to the top of one of the airport short term car parks. provided you find the right car park, you will be able to see parts (not all) of both runways. it depends very much on the operational/runway ‘scenario’ the ATC is using. you also have great views of Terminal 4, and terminal 2 aprons. you may be able to see smaller jets i.e. 737s, A319s rotate, but you won’t be able to see aircraft touching down on the other runway.
ok, you have to pay the usual car park fee, but its worth it.
hope that helps,
adam
Awful.
i should think that one of the busiest international routes is London-Paris. think about all the airlines that compete on the route (loco’s included) – thats quite a few airlines!

thanks for the advice everyone. i am doing media studies AS because i was told it was an interesting subject (and it is), but i have no aim to follow that sort of career (sorry if it sounded that way). i am aiming towards a career on the flight deck.
one of the main problems that i face is my height(along with the work involved). i am quite tall for my age – a little over 6ft and i just wish that i can stop growing. why does a commercial pilot have a height restriction? ok i can understand why a fighter pilot has a height restriction, are airliner cockpits really that small?
thanks,
adam
i’ve just began my AS level courses in Media Studies, Design, English Language and ICT at 6th Form. i have got 9 good GCSEs under my belt, i just don’t know what to do next (and now) to head towards an aviation career. could any of you guys help?
thanks,
Adam
in general, do airlines want the A-levels to be subjects like Maths and Physics, or could you get away with ‘less academic’ subjects?

interesting idea – the undercarriage would probably collapse, and anyway – it doesn’t really suit Boeings ideas does it (?) i.e. small-medium sized sub sonic efficient jets.
(maybe it would look better with a slightly more interesting livery)
