hmm, I have a picture of Nakat, but you’ll have to wait for a week or two to get it, since it’s on my other computer, which isn’t connected at the moment.
For the SSK, I prefer Walrus class and the new type 212! It looks kind of similar to the Dolphin…(I know, same designers)
FOr me it’s Arleigh Burke Flight IIA, dealing with the previous lack of helicopter in the original Burkes, armed with a huge amount of missiles, with a huge potential armament of VLA, SM-2, ESSM, Tomahawk. The only thing it lacks is a good VLS mounted Supersonice anti-ship missile, that would make it a really good platform to operate on its own in every environment if necessary. A very flexible platform. (yet vulnerable in the forward funnel, the only minus point I can come up with).
If I have to choose a beauty-favorite, then it would be the Udaloy class. My all time favorite in the “beauty” class. The sharp bow and nice superstructure…
For small craft, on power, it would be Nakat, the Nanuchka III class with 12 Yakhont missiles (test-ship for that missile).
Carriers, Kuzzie, although she’s in bad shape, I think she looks nice and has a very nice armament to act as a cruiser and as a carrier.
Submarines: Akula II (Gepard)(new towed array and finally got rid of the old, ugly drop-formed thing on the tail) and Delta IV for the SSBN. Although I liked Belouga most, but she is no more 🙁 🙁 🙁

Rosoboron, weapons movies.
There you have all kinds of videoes, even the SMerch. If you look well, the Grad movie is somewhat fake, they just show the same salvo twice… But it does look nice and I woudn’t like to be on the receiving end. The Tor-M1 is very impressive!
Of what missile do you mean Ja? The Brahmos, there are some models at defence expos showing the Amur SSK with some VLS Brahmos (I think 3 of them in the back of the sail, like the old SSBNs of the USSR). I suppose these could be used for both land-attack and ship-attack missiles. As for Klub, the idea is to make every version sub-launchable. And since there is a VLS for Talwar, they might give it a try to fit it in a sub (with lots of modifications that is).
Is that? You would deserve one. We’ve been mates for five days now 😀
Back to topic. The Riverine forces are very interesting. Russia and Sweden and probably lots of other countries keep a part of their navy in the rivers. Sweden:
Romania
Russia
Tank guns and mortars seem to be very popular for such ships…
Hmm, no worries, your eyes don’t cheat on you. There is certainly something wrong with that name… It’s written Kareliya, is this right? That’s what’s there for sure. I don’t know if the name’s written like that, since I always saw Karelya on the net… But that’s it.
Oh, was anyone talking about the forward MLRS? Indeed that’s for ASW for sure… But I deem it quite outdated by now. Although my own stupid Navy still relies on it and keeps arguing with me about the effectiveness. Of course our frigs were built in the Cold War…
Nice pictures you have there, again with the red deckpaint… Has this changed the last days? Haven’t seen any latest pics on CDF lately…
oh, your name as “aggressive member” is really right then…
Political flag waving? It is a fact that your country does have 1.2 billion people (of which too many male ones, but that aside), and too few land to maintain this.
Brand everyone? WHat do you mean? THe British, are Jonesy, which is according to you guys a buddy of mine in this discussion.
So, now I have to stick to the topic right? Haha, this entire topic isn’t “sticked” to the topic or topic title… Only if you really read it well, and I’m sure some people didn’t read it well enough to understand that, otherwise you would have gotten the point of Jonesy…
The site says: Karelya… Which I suppose is right. The names of the Delta IV subs I know are:Tula, Verkhotur’e, Novomoskovsk, Ekaterininburg, Bryansk and Karelya. That makes six of the seven units. The other one is called Vladimir, but no one is sure about that. So, there are two chances then. This is the Seventh unit or it is Karelya indeed. (Or it is a Delta III????)
What is this one doing????
Is she testing the ballast tanks or emergency blow (on the quay  )?
Here’s another one of mine. Personally, I like this one most… It’s kind of my baby.

As for people restarting modelling, this site and forum is extremely good. Modelwarships
Lots of things changed in the hobby lately. The Chinese company trumpeter is making nice models with sometimes revolutionary qualities.
At this moment I’m building a Admiral Graf Spee (my first and last battleship) Normally I only build Modern warships, especially Russian ones.
This is one of the nicest things I’ve seen. Certainly that way of water and environment…Tirpitz
I agree with GDL Jonesy, I admire your courage to keep going on your point. I suppose they’ll see the power of the SSNs when they come to the West in their imperial search for space.
Obviously they can’t imagine too much, like for example that they don’t know your “zones” nor how many SSNs are out there… Well you made your point to me and to GDL, so you should consider it as a succes. (I were a defender of the Chinese matter at first as you can see in my first posts, but you convinced me indeed!!!!) ALthough the British still stay a bunch of US buttkissers and deserve to be kicked out of EU. 😡
I have had a tour on a Type-23 frigate. They look very modern and nice inside. Although I believe they do not have these nice red carpets during a trip or training… 😀
Hmm, that’s the problem Ja, I didn’t take time back then. Just beginning to model and thinking about making an entire fleet, only concerned by time, not money. Now things have turned, now it’s the money (and ordering people who)that decides what models and at what pace I build them. My latest toy is Admiral Graf Spee. ALso finishing the Pyotr Velikiy cruiser and an IL-76. And now, obliged to work on my big Sovremenny (1/200) to repair the damage done by the hurricane “Mother”. Lost a cannon, got its pennant number torn apart and a broken mast. As for other carriers, I have the USS Enterprise, the Minsk and the amphibious vessel USS Saipan.
Hahaha, we’re two of a kind then, I don’t drink either.
Hmm you meant the picture below the Castle class then. And yes, very suspicious… Jonesy, get your kid off that ship!
Errr, how annoying, I keep seeing that kid now, not seeing my first thoughts!!!
