RE: Bomb on Ryanair plane
Brilliant comment:-)
RE: Art Of Landing In Good Shape
Well about the same as said:
-Plenty of sleeping before the fight.
-No fatty food.
-drinking a lot (not alcohol).
-Stretching exercices in the seat, walking along the aisle as much as possible.
-Moisturizing the skin.
-Take Aspirins before and after the flight.
-Don´t cross the legs.
-Don´t take pills for sleeping.
Have a nice flight.
RE: a meeting?
It seems that its not a popular idea. When I go to Duxford, I´ll tell in case someone wants to join.
RE: a meeting?
Quite a long way….but one never knows.
RE: Chinese Aviation Industrie
Airbus is being a good customer for the Chinese market. Boieng knows that the recent silly incident with the spy-plane has put in danger the possible adquisition of more Boeings (30 has been cancelled) it seems that the US administration has a lot to do in terms of aviation, in the future visit of the US president to China soon. I think the chinese economy is booming despite problems and will duplicate the number if passengers using plane. The A380 is a good product for the Chinese market.
RE: Iberia pilots strike again
Solution today. The goverment has decided to intervine after the manegement team had decided to cancel all the flights as a countermeasure against pilots, appointing an impartial referer. The referer has ruled today: 50% for pilots and 50% for the management team.
RE: Bomb on Ryanair plane
Kids are kids. They aren´t aware of all the implications. I walked along the terminal and they were really amazed: like a biga adventure. In any case I wouldn´t like to be that kid. His parents should be so crossed that probably had a beating. Would they have to pay all the expenses?. I think it´s normal in countries like the US. Is that common here?:
RE: The loss of regional routes
Eurostar is a fantastic way to get to the continent. Problem…
too expensive.
RE: Chinese Aviation Industrie
You will flying in big jets with no separation between classes. New planes, terrible service and dull ground facilities. Although they are trying to cope with the western standards they still have a long way to go. Enjoy your trip.
RE: Concorde Flying again
Well dear V1 a kidney a bit too much.
RE: Concorde Flying again
Good luck, the members of this forum should be awarded with a free flight anywhere on Concorde. Specially considering the support we all h ave given to this nice plane.:-)
RE: The loss of regional routes
Rail services should improve because they should serve as complement of air services. It´s a bit senseless for enviromental reasons, air congestion short and even medium haul air services. High speed trains are the solution like in France. In Spain the route Madrid-Seville dropped dramtically in terms of passengers when the TGV-AVE was inagurated. Right now we have started the contruction of new high speed rails to improve internal conections and make Madrid-Barajas airport something less conegested and in a way more human to fly to. Europe is too small to have flights everywhere. Distances less than 600 km should be transfered to high speed trains. The studies have proved that trains win to planes in that distances.
RE: Liverpool John Lennon Airport
And thats what I don´t like: Airports are airports nothing to gloryfy anyona. Anyway next time I´ll fly Liverpool, I keep on calling it Liverpool Airport.
RE: Ryanair still are a bunch of idiots.
I didn´t compare it with Virgin Express, simply they cooperate with them in some routes. Sometimes it seems that the public quarels of the airlines, melt in private when they pact prices and services. In Spain happens the same. Iberia, Spanair and Air Europa (bad relations) pacted the prices and even Iberia rents planes from Iberia. Of course Ryanair doesn´t have anaything to do with good Sabena.
RE: The loss of regional routes
Let´s hope big hubs get so congested than airlines think in regional airports again.
