Please dear friend, don´t miss Girona as one of the most pintoresque city in the whole Spain. At least you should have a walk along the medieval old jewish quarter, the colourfull fassades at the river and the “ramblas” with the old two behind it. Don´t miss Besalu some kms away from Gerona, as the prefect setting for many medieval films. With one of the most wonderful bridges in the world. Gerona Airport is indeed uninteresting.

Merger?….sounds interesting. I still can´t see why BA is so interested in getting such a dull airline as Iberia.

That´s easy. New Orleans and Washington. The first beacuse it has personality, resambles to europe, deep Spanish roots, it´s warm, typical and charming. Full of music and feeling. And Washington as a perfect example of how a rational captial should be. Wide, big, large and no skyscreppers smart and imperial.

Hard question. We are master of our own decissions and we shouldn´t be forced to change our minds for terrorist reasons. But……we are human beings and I suppose the situation is volatile. Of course nobody won´t be stupid to get into a fighting situation, but kamikaze bombs are a present and clear danger. My main concern is about practical questions…are all the tourist paces open for visit?. If not….I wouldn´t go. Unfortunately the area has been conflictiv for dozens of year. I myself travelled in 1982 and there were also problems, but to say the truth Í didn´t see anything, and there weren´t restrictions to visit anything. Both in the Palestine and Israeli areas the population are bery friendly with tourism because for both tourism is a vital resource.

I don´t think I should give my oppinion about the point since I am not an american and won´t vote. I think the only Democrat who could defeat Bush could be Dean. Of course it´s not a based analysis. Sorry to have interfered in an american topic

Correct and managed by other Spanish airline called Air Plus Comet with they share planes. Right now a new livery was created for Air Plus in order to use AR planes: Air Plus colours but the condor bird on the tail (like AR). Air Plus uses AR B747 for long haul charter flights and high density to Spain and is about to incorporate B737-700 (with winglets) for the domestic and european market. Rumours say that theywant to launch the first low cost in Spain. AR uses A310 from Air Plus in their charter destinations. They also share crews.

Iranair as statal airline, whose regimen doesn´t give any explanation about statal finances and accountability can afford everything.

Good news. I have always seen Saudi Arabia as a real axis of evil. Please, why don´t they include Spain and quit too?. Most Spanish mega bases will be enlarged, bad news for an autonomous self defense of this country:confused:
