    RE: Novel trouble….again

Sounds great, but not original, since as you point out, Clancy curls the curl all the time. What about a time shift…a time machine in which a present day german goes back to the time of the WW2, alters the reality and make the nazis to win. Then comes back to present time, in a complete changed world. Time shifts could be done to the future, too.

RE: Should we interfere in other countries affairs?

Fine guys, but lets be the devil´s lawyer. If a country decissions affect to the rest of the world…..should we intervine?. An example…sorry to all Norweians…Whale hunting threaten with this aminal extintion…and this affects all us. Brazil, deforestion…affects the whole planet…So…not even in these cases?. Pol Pot genocide?. I know it´s not easy to stablish a line.

RE: Chechens threaten to kill 700 hostages in Moscow theatre

Oh yes, it´s definitely really sad. And I wouldn´t call the operation brilliant at all. I wouldn´t like to be in Puttin´s position. But who knows what would the terrorists be doing next if the police hadn´t intervined. It seems that they had started to shoot the hostages. Would they have blown up the theatre?. They are really capable of that. So I suppose, I prefer thinking that 750 have been rescued. If I think in the death of these inocent people that would be really depresive. Other opinions suggest that the people were killed by the poisoned gas not but the bullets. Just see the theatre´s photos. It´s feasible. There´s not much blood….that amount of victims would cause huge amounts of blood and even on the seats which haven´t a single blood spot. If you see the hostage takers after being shot, the amount of blood is quite big only for a single person. Uhhh, suspicious.

Well, simply the paradox of a country which is making big effords to enter in the Western world, which makes beauty contests and a country which tolerates this sentences (lapidation). Nothing else.

RE: Which countries build the best cars and why?

Germany, Germany, Germany in all senses. But I have to say, that France makes a good quality/price cars but with a strange look. Italy for design. And Sweden for safety.

That´s what the president keeps saying, but I am not so sure that without the resolution they would go alone. However I am sure, they´ll get the resolution at the end, so no need to make that decission. If they had wanted to go alone, they would have done it before.

I don´t think nothing dramatic happens, since the rescue has been showed as a success. Probably internal and hidden cleasing. Fortunately it was great, but not a complete success since some people have been killed. It seems that the hostage takes had started to shoot the hostages. In any case…good everthing is over and hundreds of civilians had saved their lives. 🙂

Wowww. GaryB. I love your mental vitality to be able to jump to different topics at the same time. Children explotation, justice, South vs North….human resources….ufff. You are bringing many issues at this topic which originally I wasn´t even considering. Since you add interesting thoughts, but too general, I´ll open different topics. I am not really fond of intervention in other countries affairs, because as I mentioned the world is diversity. That´s the theory, but a country which claims to be accepted in the Western world can just have a menu a say….I get this but I don´t get this. Traditions have always been an easy way to justificate really bloody habbits.
