RE: Political leaders
No dear Sauron, don´t get confused and talk too quickly. Nobody are being anti american simply critical to some to its politicians. Critizing Bush or Rumsfeld, doesn´t mean critisizing America. At the same time, and fortunately Sharon is not Israel.

RE: Life Expectancy of Tyres?
I don´t think there was any average life expectansy since it depends on the conditions the plane is operating. Weather, load, use of the plane, state of the runways…and so on. As far as I know, quite frecuently…within a month or even less.
RE: Mobile Phones
I do believe that something wrong happens when they are on. One experience…. in a IB757-200 cockpit in cruising one of the computers went off. After investigacion one of the flight attendants discovered, that an English man (sorry folks, but he was English indeed) trying to make a call from his phone. There was an incident because he refused to switch it off telling that any “greasy dago” (for anyone not being British, that a “nice” thing called to Spaniards in the UK) would prevent him from doing anything. He was put under detention after landing. And in the second case, also flying in in the Cockpit, the pilot (a former schoolmate of mine) after hearing a phone ringing, told me to turn my phone off just seconds before taking off. Mine was already off….IT WAS HIS, WHICH WAS ON…his face went red. Funny.
RE: Help on Virgin fleet
The funny thing is that from the press department they hide or at least they are not eager to assume that they have B747-200 in operation, something which is not right. So I hope I could get extra information somewhere.

RE: Music/Musician That You Can’t Stand?!?!
Well. Here it goes.
-Rap, hip hop, heavy, rock, house, acid. And about concrete artists…hummm, hard question. Some Spanish ones you don´t know and Pink Floyd, Britney, and all extrident things.

RE: Hate particular Airline/ Aircraft?
Well, things have changed in Aeroflot quite a lot, being a regular airline now at least in international service. I have the pleasure of making a study about them a year ago and I was impressed. Old Tupolev and Ilyushin have been fitted new engines, Honeywell avionics, and western trainning for crews. The patterns of cabin service has been taken from european airlines and the management is taken by an american agency…so no more shabby Aeroflot. Safety standards are quite good and comparable to other airlines.
RE: Identify the Airlines and aircraft!!!
Same answers, but the last one is a B727/B737.
RE: Caos in Spain
This has had to do with the general strike which will take place next week. Intense sabotage was found (wiring cuts with power saws). Several members of the Trade Unions has been put under detention. There are other versions. Yesterday there was the 25th aniversary of the arrival of democracy to Spain, so there are suspicious of ultra right sectors could have performed such a thing. I am not surprised at some lunatics behavoir. What surprimes me more is the effects. Even planes came really late last night. I still don´t see any conection between telephone lines and air traffic.
