The Israeli space program started in about the early 80s and included satellites.

Even in the sixties if you count ballistic missile development. The first Jericho 1 program started in 1965.

    IAF Ouragan shark mouth

No sharkmouth collection is complete without Ouragan #49 of the IAF.

The plane has been restored to op Kadesh markings and is exhibited at the Hatzerim museum.

    Shalom Erez,

we bought our Dolphins in the US, the American version with the US engines.

Not disputing this, but Eurocopter was still supplying a lot of it.

Second, the Atalef is for sea petroling, nothing like the job the Dhruv will carry out…

Do we already know what the dhruv’s role will be?

IAI will buy Dhruv helicopters, and will fly the IDF’s staff and other VIPs.
In case you think, “impossible, they would rather buy american”, then no. First of, the IAI will get a low price for the Dhruv, because she is part of the comapany exporting the heli in the world. And second, as part of the Phalcon deal, Israel signed an agreement with India in which Israel will have to buy Indian made products.

Third, this will handsomely avoid having to purchase more Atalef helos (dolfin) made in EEC countries whose goverments oppose Israel and support Arafat.

Fourth, IIRC IAI announced during the LBG show that she has some share of co-production in the DHRUV (was it avionics?), and that can’t hurt either… 🙂

Two of Saddams toys. I knew the Iraqis operated the F-7B but I did not know they had the F-7M.

    Great pics!
    Thanks for sharing.

Dan, your sarcasm is of no use here, can you be serious

It is not my sarcasm that is of no use, habibi. It is your blustering.

If you have not-previously-published pictures of Israeli downed planes, post them. Otherwise you could avoid ridiculing yourself in this manner.

Nobody wants you to make a buffoon of yourself, and besides the comical effect wears out pretty fast when it’s always the same joke.

Yes it is probably embarrassing to be from a country that started so many wars and lost them all; yes it is even more embarrassing that not only they lost, but they ended up running away and abandoning loads of equipement intact.
But hey, this forum is not the place for overcompensating. And blustering about pics of imaginary victories is not the way.

Besides, nobody is saying that it is your personal fault if all this happened. Why don’t you just join in the exchange of pictures and info, and live in peace with everyone here.
    🙂

    The smallest air force ?

A contender for the title of smallest AF in the world:
    Afatrat’s.

This is Yasir’s private taxi courtesy of the Algerian govt.
AFAIK the only fixed wing aircraft of the PA.

however, I do personally poses three pictures of downed Israeli aircraft from that very period

    Three. No less.

Aaaaaaand, you and your Acig membership have not found a way to get it to the net. That wouldn’t be too swift.

Besides, you certainly wouldn’t get a medal if you helped out the Assad propaganda machine.

Or, maybe, lemme guess: it is like all those gun camera films: “Oh yes, our ace DID score 12 kills with his canon against those inferior Israeli pilots, but his gear malfunctioned on landing and he had to eject. This is why we can’t publish the film.”

    Riiiiiight, kfadrat. Everybody believes you.

    No kidding. 😀 😀 😀

whereas the Syrians managed to make at least several air-to-air kills and mounted numerous extremely damaging attacks
