    My first flight was in a Bristol Britannia from British Eagle International in I think1961.

    We (as in UK/GB) must be very good at making wings, Airbus in Cheshire (I think :)) and now Bombardier in Belfast!

    Shorts also made the wings for the Fokker F28 and Fokker100
    and Fokker made the wings for the Shorts aircraft the 330 i think

    I painted a few of the ANSETT Fokker F27,s when i worked at at Fokker in the 70’s
    ANSETT also had a few F28’s,Also saw the F50’s being painted ,By that time i was Forman of the F100/F70 paint shop

    That is what I was told by someone from the Quality Department at Fokker.
    Looks like he may be wrong.
    Sorry I should have confirmed it before placeing the Thread

    But I douth it, that the A380 would make its first flight on a Saturday!

    Well, Friday the 13th of May wouldn’t be also very lucky! 😉 😀

    If the first flight happens in that time, it should be a few days before or after that date!

    Sorry I mean this Month,In two days Peter

    Yes I am sure they are fake,all the wing’s that Shorts of Belfast deliverd were used on the last Aircraft that were built in the last year of manufacture.
