    Sounds very much like a joke to me. Even if they are looking into it, the reason is most likely to put pressure on Embraer, Bombardier and Fairchild/D’Long.

    Having said that, I really want them to get F70/100s as they are great planes!

    Happend with a FOKKER F100 [yes a FOKKER again] from TAM,
    One of the engines went into reverse mode causing the aircraft to crash.

    No just Polished and not metel but aluminium.
    and the compositos component’s are Rudder ,Elevators ,Flaps ect

    The FOKKER F100’s from AA and USairways were just Polished,
    the cigar [fuselage] were first Polished with a Robot. After painting ,were re Polished with the hand, very hard work for the ones doing the belly.
    No UVR Lacquer/varnis applied.
    USair were re Polished after so many flights.

    All 3 Livery’s are great.
    The third is the best.

    Polished skin saves on weight.

    English Electric Lightning.3 or 4 times
    BAC NIMROD.4 or 5 times
    And about 70 F-16’s Fighting Falcons.
