SOCSOC, if FSW have stealth features, then we should watch in the sky many FSW UAVs, because FSW is more suitable to subsonic speed
FSW dont have stealth features, the believe of some guys that the reflected waves are absobed by the fuselage are far from the reallity, because to do that you need an impossible angle due to the problems of the aspect ratio, , the leading edge perimeter is shorter, increasing the density of the wave returned -with the same span compared of a conventional wing-, actually fsw increase the radar signature returning the wave to the source, FSW is more efficient as a lifter at near supersonic speed than rectangular wings, but also have it structural problems, you dont see any extensive program based on stealth features that follow fsw-even with its aerodynamical features- ,guess why..
just try to draw a normal line from the 3/4 external portion of the s-47 fsw -taking the leading edge angle and taking in consideration that is a high wing and the nose and fuselage is a a lower level-, that wont work to hide it from the radars
I said FSW could be stealthy if factored into the design properly. I didn’t say that all FSW was naturally stealthy. It helps to read what I say if you don’t want to look foolish for drawing an entirely irrelevant conclusion.
And from your comments I see you still have yet to discover the AGM-129, and for that matter may not even have a proper grasp of radar scattering properties.

The Zune owns, in terms of video playback (better screen and resolution), user interface (no retarded dial control thing to keep breaking, like on my wife’s iPod), and in terms of what you can convince it to do. You can link them to your Tivo or DVR service and download stuff straight to the Zune.
It will also be able to play XBox games (!) and surf the web in the next iteration.
I pretty much got one for the huge screen size. It priced right there with the 30GB iPod, so I got the one I thought looked better, and wouldn’t be cursed by my wife’s aforementioned issue. Plus it’s Microsoft, so it’s compatible with my Media Center computer and my XBox 360 to do all manner of neat and weird stuff. And I got the Halo 3 Zune as well, you won’t find an Apple Halo 3-licensed anything 😀

Just because, probably. They didn’t even release images of the missile until a year or two ago. There’s been a lot of interest in Meteorit so they probably dusted one off and brought it out for display. They do that every once in a while at MAKS.
As far as I know the wair launhed version the Koala AS-19, is not a fealure, and is in service.
Kh-80 was never inducted into service, nor were the surface or sub launched versions. This one is the sub-launched version, by the way, identified as such by the lack of the additional tail fairing seen in the previously released images of the Kh-80.

Those were Moldovan 9.12s and 9.13s. Some were put on display that I know of, and I assume that the FULCRUM seen taxiing along the runway at Groom Lake was one of them as well.
SOCuntil now , all their “stealth” projects were the 1.44 and s-47 -at least what i know-…that never were based on that concept -no matter what said some russian media-, for example was funny to read that FSW was ideal to the radar signature of the s-47, but the “skat” follow very well all the rules for low radar detection
You’re forgetting both the T-50 and the T-54/T-60S as far as Russian stealth is concerned.
And then there’s the fact that yes, FSW can be factored into an LO design if done properly, so yes, the FSW planform of the Su-47 may have aided in reducing its RCS. For another FSW stealth example, you might want to discover the AGM-129.
Just looking at the mockup however I really don’t think there is enough room in those bomb bays for the Kh-31
You’re right, the Kh-31 won’t fit inside those bays. This’d make a pretty neat concept demonstrator for a much larger aircraft though, wouldn’t it? :diablo:

Nope. The Meteorit program was a pretty huge failure. The idea was great, the general concept was great, but the missile just wouldn’t cooperate. Almost all of the test launches resulted in some sort of failure.

Of course it’s not. Neither is water, which is why you can use radar to see through the ocean to track submarines.

SOCMe, I still buy loads of CDs, but nowadays I rip them to my computer and copy the music to my Zune (like a video iPod, but a lot cooler).
Some of the most recent stuff I’ve bought:
-Nile: Ithyphallic…whoa, this is by far the best work they’ve done, the production is a lot crisper and the songs just sound so much better than on their previous releases.
-Iced Earth: Overture of the Wicked…a four song promo EP for the upcoming 2 album release, has re-recorded versions of the last three songs from Something Wicked This Way Comes and a new song 10,000 Strong. Pretty good stuff.
-Megadeth: United Abominations…yeah I got the album a while back when it came out, but the Japanese import recently arrived, having an extra track in the form of a cover of Out On The Tiles by Led Zeppelin. Which only further reinforces the fact that if Megadeth were to become solely a cover band, they would still be freaking awesome.
-Transformers the Movie: 20th Anniversary Soundtrack…you laugh, but driving down the road at speeds of such rapidity to not be documented here blasting NRG’s “Instruments Of Destruction” or Spectre General’s “Nothin’s Gonna Stand In Our Way” is highly amusing.
-Ozzy Osbourne: Black Rain…this one was a lot better than I thought it’d be. I thought his last album was pretty good, certainly no Ozzmosis but still respectable, so I figured this one would be halfway decent as well. Turns out it might be one of the better albums of the year.
-Bolt Thrower: Those Once Loyal…the song Killchain might have the simplest, heaviest guitar riff known to man.
-Poisonblack: Lust Stained Despair…the first five songs on this one are so good the album should be illegal.
-Children of Bodom: In Your Face EP…if you have to ask why I tracked this EP down, you won’t be nearly as amused by the answer.
Slayer: Christ Illusion…just a re-release with one new song, one alternative version of a song, and a DVD with some amusing stuff. For serious Slayer fans only. SLAYER!
For some upcoming releases…Megadeth’s awesome That One Night live DVD will be released as a CD version on 4 September, complete with three more tracks that for some reason weren’t on the DVD. Iced Earth’s first CD of the two-part thing they’ve been working on is due out on 11 September, wit hthe second CD being due out in January (I think). October sees the release of a 4 CD/1DVD box set of Megadeth rare and unreleased stuff called Warchest…the DVD and one of the CDs will be unreleased concert recordings, so that’s two complete shows (ok the CD one is complete, I think the DVD one might be most of the show they played) along with a bunch of other stuff.
Oh yeah. One of the greatest bands ever releases their latest CD, titled 4 Way Diablo, in November. Monster Magnet is back!
