    yes done that jeepman, quite a bit of information that way, but as i say, i’m particularly interested in the pv4, as i can’t find any drawings for that aircraft.

    see spitfire mk356 heading south between Grain and the Isle of sheppy whilst out for a walk along Grain foreshore,just before 2.30,managed this image of it, was about 3 miles away though .[ATTACH=CONFIG]219722[/ATTACH]. always worth carrying a zoom camera with you just in case.

    Taken at Waddington airshow this year, not a sharp image unfortunately.[ATTACH]189774[/ATTACH]
    even though it was probably taken from over 1/2 mile away with a 500mm zoom lens.

    Griffon spit/seafire

    Griffon spitfire or seafire passed over isle of grain 2.45pm , heading east to west, just caught sight out of bedroom window.

    Been waiting years for this one to appear, lets hope paperwork done and fine weather about, i’ll be there on sunday, hoping she can fly!.Otherwise static pics will do me for now. Lets hope she stays in the uk for a long time!
