I did this once about ten years ago- at the dinner table. Apparently a sibling had left a glass of milk on the table at lunch time (a day ago) and it had been overlooked since then. I reached over and picked up the glass, unaware of the horror that lay inside, and took a nice big drink, I’m told the stunned expression on my face was very funny though the subsequent gagging and yelling was not exactly humerous. It was bar none the most horrible thing I have ever tasted.
Probably explains why to this day I do not drink milk- by itself, ever. I’ll use it in my cereal or oat meal, or even make some hot cocoa with it. But you will never see me pour it into a glass and drink it. (or even slug it from the jug) Oh, no.
oi! Kippers! That is bad! 😉
I’m addicted to Cherry 7UP. Delicious and only 79cents a 2 liter..which works out to about $3 a week which is $12 a month which is …$144 a year I believe.
Still cheaper than cigarettes and won’t kill me or sicken those around me! 😀
People who are stuck up, full of themselves, and seem to think it is a personality trait worth flaunting.
[QUOTE=Hatton]Well , im in a minority it appears but I stick with my opinion. I still think the picture isn’t funny and the original idea of the game being played today(which was not a jokey matter orginally) isn’t my cup of tea. It still though has nothing to do with being politically correct (Andy, if you knew me you would soon realise that this is not the case in the slightest and perhaps you would have rephrased) but, i shall state again, taste. Anyway life is full of different opinions, which is why it is grand. Im prepared for it to be me last remark on the matter
QUOTE]
You’re right it wasn’t funny, it’s incendiary and does nothing to improve things from last week. But who’s going to say that in this company? I’m surprised the pack of wolves that run these forums haven’t run you out by now, talking like that, you keep up with that “different opinion” stuff, though and I’m sure they’ll try soon enough.
I think it’s a great idea and entirely relevant to the modern day. In fact, I’ve just found a handy map… :diablo:
Wow- Does Snapper really resemble Hitler so much? Never would’ve ocurred to me!
Thats ridiculous. Flood has remained completley impartial in this in his role as a moderator. Never deleting any of Robbo’s persoanl attacks or warning him, only ever coming into it as Flood a poster on the forum, not as a moderator.
The feed thread was locked because it was knocked completley off topic by Robbo and Andy.
And since I have stated my intention to atke my issue with Robbo up with the mods and no longer in the threads then I guess you won’t have to worry anymore about that.
I totally agree on this.
I don’t understand your logic on this? You seem to be saying that because the moderators have a position of authority- they should be allowed to take no other position or express their own opinions when not in a moderator capacity?
And you know for a fact that it was Flood who removed it?
And are you saying that moderators arent allowed to participate in the forums as regular people, like you or I? Aren’t allowed to have opinions or discussions? I believe Flood posted the moderator guidelines yesterday and I don’t see that he has gone outside of his role or responsibility.
And just to set the record straight- Flood posted one thread relating to Robbo in your CM thread- and it was defending himself, the post was not abusive in anyway and referred to the moderator guidelines and he defended himself point by point. It seems your issue would be with mine and Robbo’s attacks. I only bring this up to to ensure undue blame is not put upon Floods shoulders. My issue with Robbo is my own.
And to show that two of your points indicting Flood as “unfit” are not true.
Robbo needs his own damn moderator.
And that is my last word on that subject. Sorry to ruin your CM thread Patterson.
I’ll not utter another peep about Robbo or his rampant abuse outside of PM’s to mods when I am again offended by his crap.
Again- sorry to ruin your thread.

On my recent Continental flight to London in a 777, I was very surprised at how quiet the interior of the plane was compared to my domestic flight…not sure what plane that was though, it was just a roar the entire two hour flight.
It was nice not to experience that on my 9 hour flight over the Atlantic, you could’ve heard a pin drop.

Ah. Here we go. It is a general discussion forum. For well, general discussion.
You really want me to start posting on the other forums? I tried to keep to GD because my aviation knowledge is not to keen. But, hey I’ll do it.
How nice. I take exception to one members attacks (which is exactly what they are) and my right to be here is questioned? Get a grip. And if you have a problem with me or my posting here, maybe you’d be better served by taking it to a mod or asking me in a PM.
Oh, you’re so witty, Robbo. What, I didn’t respond to your last crazy PM fast enough so you have to beg for attention out here?
The Darkness “I believe in a thing called love”
Shoot me, please.
Hah; lol, Gnome- did not read your post before I wrote that, by the way… I suppose it was just a matter of time.
Black Pudding
OH MY LORD!!!!
Black Pudding is traditionally made by mixing together pigs blood, boiled groats, pigs fat, onion, flour and seasoning. A traditional and unusual addition to this mix was pennyroyal mint, not usually a culinary herb and considered unsafe for use today.
When all the ingredients were well mixed together, the pudding mix was either put into skins or sometimes just into a well greased tin. The pudding in skins was then boiled; the mixture in the tin was baked. When cooked they could be eaten immediately or stored for several months.
