Dave’s just teasing you CB – the top one’s called “New” and the bottom one’s “Zealand”

Just like how they make a kiwifruit by cutting the arms, legs and head off a kiwibird, Gnome? http://gallery.photo.net/photo/3326464-lg.jpg

    Geography
It consists of two main islands (North and South) and a number of smaller ones, the largest being Stewart Island in the south.

Well, I knew a good amount about New Zealand before (basic stuff) but am surprised at this, surprised I never knew that! I would have instantly said it was just one island. Are the North and South islands very far apart?

Can you explain the beetroot hamburger to me? Is it just beetroot mixed in with the meat?

As a start try the CIA world fact book. It has useful (but dry) stats if you need a brief summary of key historical, demographic, social and political background.

I would love to visit NZ. I have family in Sydney so I am hoping to work in at least a short stay in NZ as well.
    Regards

    Sauron

Fantastic, Sauron- thanks! I love the CIA World Fact Book 😮 But, it hadnt occured to me to use it for this. Though, with all the great stuff Dave is giving me, I might not need to!!

Hope you get a chance to get out there; I hear it is an amzing place!
