SM969 appeared at,at least,one other airshow;the Cranfield Show in September 1991 where she turned up along with Doug Arnold’s Wildcat and Bearcat.
Cargomasters were quite regular visitors to the U.K.This photo of 56-0211 was taken at the Lakenheath Open House on June 6th 1970.There were no barriers around static aircraft in those days:great for a close look but frustrating for photography!Notice the queue waiting to board showing how much bigger the aircraft was than the C-130.

The yard where the Caribous are is Western International.They don’t normally scrap aircraft, but restore and store aircraft for other operators.
They are indeed Caribous in that yard.Here is a photo of one them.The office do let you wander around the yard for a nominal fee,providing a very informative guide.It is much more satisfying searching through these yards than the standard bus trip around AMARC.
