Sea Fury N46990 became N924G with Sanders Aircraft
The only flying shot I took of G-MOSI was a rather distant shot of a low pass down the taxiway.I’ve also included a couple of Lindsey Walton’s F4U-7 Corsair N1337A on it’s delivery flight to Duxford,7 August 1982.And finally T-6 N2860G on a visit to the UK July 1982.
These are REAL warbirds!.Ex Moroccan Air Force T-28A Fennecs on their way to the USA and onwards to the Nicaraguan Air Force/Sandanista in 1979.Doug Arnold was involved with these aircraft and they spent some months at Blackbushe before delivery across the Atlantic.
A few more of N166G and N47DE.The P-47 appears to be very thirsty on the oil!
A few more.

N166G did indeed become G-PSID
Some more coming shortly.Did you notice Neil Williams in the centre of the group around the nose of the first CASA-2.111?He was sadly killed in the crash of another CASA-2.111 in Spain a few months later. In my opinion he was the best display pilot ever.
Jeff Hawke flying the B-17 at Barton in1979
Jeff Hawke’s TB-25N ‘Miami Clipper’ N86427 taken at the 1978 Mildenhall Show. The aircraft was abandoned a year later at Malaga Spain when it damaged a wing during low flying! In 1985 it was rescued by the Museo del Aire and is now on display at Cuarto Vientos,Madrid.
A couple of photos of the ill-fated Invader N3710G.
First taken at Duxford
Second at the Mildenhall Air Show .Both taken in 1978
Manston’s Javelin FAW.9,XH764.Also the gate guard Canberra PR.3 WE168 .Both pics taken in 1975.Both aircraft were chopped up in March 1990
I think he ended up in a Piper Aztec at the bottom of the Med. in very strange circumstances.
Thanks.Date now corrected.
